01/11/2018 09:32 | Right. So even if the big A is confirmed, it's better to wait until the gap up is filled before buying.....Right. | wynterwilde
01/11/2018 07:41 | hit 30.45 11 sessions ago. Pay attention dear. So as promised here's a wee tech update. That 30p base or thereabout may well hold but the key is breaking the 50p area to finally put to rest the horrible lower high lower low pattern. The recent bounce is most welcome but would have been better if we'd seen a much improved volume to underpin. As it stands there was unfortunately a 'gap up' at the start of this week. So far every single gap on the weekly chart with nano has eventually filled. Remember all the kerfuffle back in April when we had the last one. Anyway it sure enough filled which provided another opportunity to 'top-up' More to follow. | boris cobaka

31/10/2018 16:16 | I thought this was going to 30p in quick time..? | rochdae
31/10/2018 09:42 | With reputable brokers Deutsche Bank and Jefferies initiating coverage with ‘Buy’ recommendations recently ( and they don’t normally cover low M.Cap. companies), there is very very likely to be more than ‘good rumors’. | aimingupward2
31/10/2018 09:29 | any comment boris? You have been good at predicting the fall in the past. Will this go up or is this increase based on the rumors, good rumors but still not officially confirmed. | mrplay
31/10/2018 08:59 | Moving up strongly again today now Apple is on board | trt
31/10/2018 08:45 | ......and why isn't the share price 25p like the latest guru Boris forecast? | wynterwilde
30/10/2018 19:50 | more to the point, where are PC and mapocho | notimpressed
30/10/2018 16:51 | LCD display isn't related to Nanoco imo. I think display is getting there but no way Apple will incorporate Qdots in their displays anytime soon. It's the sensor market that's the surprise. Image sensors, photographic sensors etc.. Production 8 months away. Display a back burner along with the rest. Remember the ticking clock with a cadmium ban 12 months away. Where is old slippy these days? | rochdae
30/10/2018 16:37 | What does that even mean? | mrplay
30/10/2018 15:23 | available next week, nano must be something down the road | davemac3

29/10/2018 21:41 | Very sad news about Paul O'Brien's death. A great man in many respects. I recall one of his talks when he said all he wanted was to leave this world in a better place than he found it. All his many PhD students and contribution to science. Just 64! Founder of Nanoco and a contributor to many of its patents and vision. Rest in peace Paul. | rochdae
29/10/2018 20:47 | Yes I noticed that NI - PIs buying the story - IIs less impressed? Still a total punt - zero visibility into anything. I would have hoped Dow would be showing signs of life around this time but if anything it looks like focus shifting away from qd production roles. Suspect this will fizzle back to low 30s. | howl01
29/10/2018 18:51 | lot of AT sells, lots OF O buys | notimpressed
29/10/2018 11:28 | Huge royalties to come if apple involved | trt

28/10/2018 11:23 | Thanks for the clarification,rochda | aimingupward2
27/10/2018 23:42 | From the last set of results: 'The EC has also started a project to review the list of toxic substances that are restricted under RoHS regulations and to review how to evaluate exemption requests. Indium Phosphide (InP) is included in materials to be considered for future inclusion in the RoHS restricted materials list because it is rated as a probable carcinogen' | rochdae
27/10/2018 23:39 | Sorry meant InP .. Indium Phosphide. Source of Samsung's cadmium free Qdots, but next on the EU hit list of possible carcinogens. As you know Nanoco doesn't use InP. It's why their bio stuff is far more likely to succeed ... imo.. | rochdae
27/10/2018 22:29 | Good post, rochdae. I don’t know what IpH is though. Could you explain please. | aimingupward2
27/10/2018 21:25 | Said all along it was Apple. By far the only candidate with sufficient knowledge of Qdots with products being developed for many years. Edelman though has stated the sensors are for automotive use. This corresponds with the graphic on the latest set of results. Not sure where the iPhone association comes from, though perhaps that's a possibility. Wonder why Wiggins and Blain left .. or were pushed? Some disagreement there, but Tenner's appointment has certainly gone down well with the city. And he's recent share purchase and all round credentials support the story. The fact that Nano have now issued guidance and the rather unusual fact that the US company is paying for the factory build with an acceleration in revenue is excellent news. I disagree display is dead. Just delayed. If Apple are in the mix they won't go near cadmium or even IpH. I think the link to Apple's Invisage purchase is hugely significant for a link to camera imaging. But ME has also stated that as yet there is no existing commercial product for the new Qdots so there's still execution risk and possible delays. There again Dow, Merck and Wah Hong are still in the mix and the Qdot industry is set to explode across multiple applications with only a few company's with the tech to supply. I remain a fan even after all these years, but with a note of caution. Nice to see they big broker firms giving coverage. The word is out probably. Can't keep a secret for long in this business. | rochdae
