Nanoco may not be the only company supporting such initiatives, but at least they ARE one of them.Plus their drive to reduce overall energy usage, as well as huge developments in medical procedures, vehicle safety, fitness clothing, and the like.Makes it a totally worthwhile investment - if not so financially rewarding, ... yet.

I noticed the Needham report referred to the partner as a "Large U.S. Strategic" for the first time, typical of Nanoco to use ambiguous terms, but I see that FLIR have a big military relationship!

That would be a bit of a climb down fom Apple to say the least! As I said, Apple is no news until it is confirmed, IF ever! No indications that Flir have anything at all lined-up where NANO are concerned or they would have been likely including some hints in their CES round-up:

FLIR look to have been very active at CES - there's lots of YouTube videos from their demos and talks on IR imaging.

Cheers Roadster. hopeless with links.Actually posted that link in the hope nano IR would react in some way, and maybe address the issue for us.On that same subject, why on earth is there no follow-up report on nano cfqd successes at CES 19? There was a decent bit of hype (tweets) from them on 3 Jan ... . Think a lot of people here would welcome such info.

Silly question but from that link I see the CEO of nanosys has managed to bag a spot as a speaker.....are we involved by chance? I couldn’t see anything....

from the link, the last sentence is the key that unlocks the door

In 2018 Quantum Dot technology entered the mainstream TV market for the first time with several great Quantum Dot display products available to consumers for well under $1,000. This major adoption milestone is the result of over 30 years of academic and commercial development from the earliest discoveries at Bell Labs until today. It’s also just the beginning for Quantum Dots.

Exciting times ahead. Apple collaboration? a positive RNS could send NANO to £2+. Roll out the Nano's and let the fun begin.

Maybe too much to expect, but considering current employees/directors at Nanoco, would have nice to see them mentioned somewhere in here:-hTTps://www.photonicconference.com/quantum-dots/agenda?_cldee=am9obmFsbGVuQGN3Yy51ay5jb20%3d&recipientid=contact-5387bbef2f0fe711b425005056bf096c-200790907e2f4bf684883fc4b095d1e4&utm_source=ClickDimensions&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Phosphor%20Global%20Summit%202019&esid=397ad4fa-d518-e911-a983-0022480053e9&urlid=2

Thanks, Roadster. Impressive and exciting. This possibly involves Apple. Since Deutsche Bank lent Plessey so much money, this is possibly how Deutsche bank learned of an Apple connection to Nanoco that they implied in a recent recommendation.

Lauders, that fact that we as owners of the company have to try and learn the state of play from the information given out by a competitor such as Nanosys, a private company for gods sake, speaks volumes about Nanocos shocking pr, not one tweet or update from ces, even after contacting the company for one, no mention of the passing of Professor Paul O'Brien the founder of the company when its competitors like ubiqd find the time to show respect on their site, its not about nda s with this bunch its either total incompetence or worse complete arrogance.

I do agree with you Rochdae, things are now finally coming to fruition. However, I remember a lot of hype over our apparent collaboration with the big S which went epically sideways....I will continue to hold as I’m a 5 year plus investor so I appreciate your comments (both now and all that time ago!).

If you look at the info. coming out of CES it's full of Qdot tech. Qled TV's and monitors and microLEDs with Qdot tech. So who are the companies able to supply? And that's just display. Nano has been building a separate sensor Qdot line at runcorn. We all know for whom, but the question is when the products will come to market.

Minor markets in other areas ... horticulture, cancer imaging etc..etc.. probably only a 10 billion or so short term.

See Lauders still complaining about PR. That's going to be a 20 year old story in itself. Least he isn't blaming others for losing money. Progress of a sort.

Nice share price move at least.

Quite correct re: the PR. Will continue to bang-on about it until they can do a proper job at promoting their product and letting the world know about it. The non-disclosure excuse is very convenient!

As for blaming others for losing money, I have never done that as all investment decisions (good and bad) are my own and nobody elses. If I am stupid enough to invest in a dud or something like NANO that remains stagnant for years that is completely my fault. Perhaps you were thinking of the time that you you posted NANO was going in the right direction and thought I was blaming you for getting folk interested and suggesting they buy? Not at all, just thought your timing was perfect on that as NANO just reversed and has been going down ever since to only recently start heading in the right direction. Seems your timing is spot on again Rochdae as you just mentioned the nice share price move and it has started to decline again. Perhaps refraining from commenting on the direction may help? One day you may be right about NANO. As for the big A, there is still no clear evidence. Love it if there were, but until there is it is rumour, plain and simple.
