08/2/2018 14:07 | ih_332411, no but in November 2017 it was reported that Apple acquired InVisage Technologies. | nowenterprise
08/2/2018 14:07 | It would explain the secrecy and perhaps any NDA. Very competitive area at the mo. | boris cobaka
08/2/2018 14:03 | i'd be think display screens for ev's or self-drive vehicles. Visteon (VC) perhaps... | boris cobaka
08/2/2018 13:56 | I don't believe Invisage is a "US listed corporation." | ih_332411
08/2/2018 13:47 | Have a look at notimp, could be a contender. | nowenterprise
08/2/2018 13:42 | still intrigued by the phrase "mass produce novel nano-particles for advanced electronic devices." begs the question what are novel nano-particles, if not cfqd, also advanced electronic devices if not mainstream display or lighting??? | notimpressed
08/2/2018 13:34 | NANO need to sort the BOD out and CEO imv They are now in the business of Sales and Manufacturing and the BOD needs to reflect that bias. R+D ought to be more suitably represented and controlled now, going forward. Or this will continue to rinse & repeat ; look at the longer term share price rather than today's | mr.oz
08/2/2018 13:31 | What's the betting that the identity of this mysterious customer emerges in the next month or so? | gersemi
08/2/2018 13:25 | notimpressed - I am impressed! Well done. Wish you well. Let's hope the tide has changed here and we really are onto something. Just need NANO to keep up the news momentum now and let's face it they have never been good at that! Not holding my breath! | lauders
08/2/2018 13:08 | The market will love the idea of a strengthened balance sheet, no major upfront costs for nano and significant diversification resulting in a new revenue stream. What's not to like. If we begin to see the continuation of wider market 'melt-up' then nano should this time be fully engaged. This is about the time we will very likely see silly days as far as the share price is concerned. Congrats to those LTH's that stuck it out. | boris cobaka
08/2/2018 13:05 | That's right ... lack of news over the next 12 months could make the price drift lower, however, hopefully it will now establish of new higher range. Been an investor for over x5 years now so intend to maintain patience and faith and see it through. | hannath
08/2/2018 12:42 | IQE refused to name APPL as one of their customers. I suppose it's the corporate way these days | gersemi
08/2/2018 12:40 | Well good news today although limited on the details and even more of a nice reaction. I take back my earlier comment to the person who timed their buy so well, but just one caveat and that is will this reaction be maintained or will we see the usual decline in share price resumed. Soon find out I guess. Shame NANO are so secretive about their business at times. | lauders
08/2/2018 12:37 | If this agreement is with Apple this is going to huge !! | trt
08/2/2018 12:28 | I dunno notimp, I think ice cream that changes colour at different temperatures would be 'cool' ;) | nowenterprise
08/2/2018 12:14 | agreed but it would be nice to know what the product is. lets hope its not a ben & jerrys ice cream franchise | notimpressed
08/2/2018 12:01 | Well if they're prepared to pay the capital expense of extending Runcorn then it can't be for small amounts of product can it? | warranty
08/2/2018 11:46 | difficult to see through the fog, will nano be supplying base material or finished products, again they have pulled a rabbit out of the hat, but unfortunately like Harvey because its invisible, we have no idea of its size colour size or anything else. as usual nano PR non existent. | notimpressed
08/2/2018 11:40 | So what's the difference between "nano-particles" and "nanoparticles"? Obviously somewhat nitpicking but you'd hope the company would be consistent in an RNS if they are leaders in the field! | typo56
08/2/2018 11:36 | Edison :- 'but by inference we assume that the application does not sit within one of the company’s established display, solar, lighting or healthcare verticals. ' so it must be for a new product line - advanced electronic devices (AED) - but what are AED's? the customer must be confident of NANO's capacity and expertise to deliver well, i'm clueless (as always) | gersemi
08/2/2018 11:26 | I think this was mentioned earlier, what's the difference between nanoparticles and QDs? | davemac3
08/2/2018 11:16 | TBH I hope it's not Apple -- they have a very bad rep for squeezing suppliers, and it was they who destroyed what remained of IMG. So I'd much rather they got our dots through Merck or Dow. That said, the moment Apple do start using QDs there will be a massive copycat takeup from all the other phone makers, which should be very good for us. | loldemort
08/2/2018 11:14 | 1mil and 5mil trades. Shown as sells and not delayed but no doubt worked for a while. Even if they are actually sells what strength considering such offloading. Points to very strong underlying demand and could continue for some time. This is a classic 'rerate' situation. Volume excellent. Over 11mil thru already and another 700k on NEX | boris cobaka
08/2/2018 10:58 | Meaty volume,back on the radar.M.E. international man of mystery leading the intrigue.Nanoco is an enigma.Stay tuned. | geraldus |
