29/6/2015 08:24 | So who did vote for Dearing's motion ? | gfrae
27/6/2015 23:42 | The Edison research note of one month ago was quite clear that the board changes may very likely mean that Peel Hunt would have to resign. But why would any other broker be willing to take their place? By removing directors with local knowledge and connections, by severing the links with Mugabe, it has been quite clear that Ning is positioning himself for an asset strip as I warned after I sold my holding. How could Ning run such a company that requires the personal touch? We saw him in action at the AGM last year. He clearly is not the person to run such a company, while rumour had it that MWW had been trying to sell the company on the cheap. Ning may very likely be trying to get his investment back the fast way. Possibly they have Zimbabwean buyers for their Zim assets, while the rest could easily vanish into Ning's empire. The Zim press saw this coming too with headlines about vultures circling the company once the Dearing saga started. This move has been so obvious I cannot believe that people still see this as a tree shake. As someone who has been in and out of these since Africa Gold days I am saddened. This was a well run company run by an honest and effective CEO. These ventures take time and are not for the get rich quick brigade. | sadworm
27/6/2015 12:35 | We're doomed, Mr Mainwaring! And we should have seen it coming. | timgw
26/6/2015 20:13 | Mostly selling - do you call that good news for bulls ????? | juju44
26/6/2015 18:51 | Well at least we had good volume | pca
26/6/2015 17:08 | Maybe the company feels Peel didn't do enough to help stave off the activists.Hopefully a new nomad will be found.I think it's very probable for a company of Mwana's standing to easily find a willing nomad, but whether the board actively make sure we have a nomad in place is another matter. | apfindley
26/6/2015 17:01 | Did Peel have any part in the recent activist EGM which resulted in a board shakeup.?If so it could have some bearing. | apfindley
26/6/2015 16:13 | Would be good to know who pulled the trigger, and why ? | kenone
26/6/2015 13:52 | china factor :( | odvod
26/6/2015 13:28 | didnt take them long to create value | juju44
26/6/2015 12:06 | The RNS presents the facts that shareholders need to know Simple | phillis
26/6/2015 10:26 | Could this RNS have been intentionally worded in this way to scare the s&€t out of smaller holders.....? if it was, it has worked......will be interesting to see where those who want the shares start to buy imo. | thecynical1
26/6/2015 10:19 | can still sell half a million @1.42 Buy just tick up Starting to look like massive tree shake | pca
26/6/2015 10:05 | I think some punters jumped the gun here . Could see a move back north soon | juju44
26/6/2015 10:02 | The company say they are in the discussion and they should. Just saying what they are expected to do. I just don't trust it. | greedfear
26/6/2015 10:00 | I would not be amazed if they were unable to find a new NOMAD (all very unfortunate offcourse blahblah), probably followed up by how good it all is not to be listed (cost savings, blahblah) and then ...? Not deramping here. No longer interested. I hope people will make money on it, but frankly I believe there's a (Chinese) plan here to practically "steal" the company. Would love to be wrong, just a very strong feeling. | greedfear
26/6/2015 09:57 | Buyers coming back in. | juju44
26/6/2015 09:55 | The Company is in discussions with replacement advisers and brokers with a view to the new Nomad being appointed within the notice period set out below. Peel Hunt has indicated that they will fully cooperate with the new Nomad to ensure a smooth transition. p If the above is true then i think people have gone into panic mode to soon. The rest of the statement would apply to any company who lost their nomad. | pca
26/6/2015 09:55 | Well I'd be amazed if there wasn't a contingency plan for a replacement NOMAD as this resignation was entirely expected from a month ago given the vote went for the resolutions, as it subsequently did. All will come out in the wash. | mr macgregor
26/6/2015 09:50 | I'm out. Don't like this at all. Possible delisting? I've been there 4 times before, I know, I know..... all ended up at 0.0 | greedfear
26/6/2015 09:36 | Presumably, they have resigned for the reason the Edison note said they would resign ie after having done due diligence of the incoming directors they found something they didn't like ( and most brokers are not too fussy!). The question I would like answered is : was this Dearing's plan? Was he acting secretly on behalf of the Chinese in order to gain control of the company by deceit? Or was it just a coincidence and the Chinese took advantage of the situation? Perhaps we can find another ambulance-chaser lawyer to sue Dearing for the £10m loss shareholders have suffered due to his actions? | gfrae
26/6/2015 09:26 | Its just getting it at a price your comfortable with. Sellers want more buyers for less. | trevorm2
26/6/2015 09:22 | So why have PH resigned ?????????? If answer is simple and no reflection on MWA then its a big BUY opportunity | juju44
26/6/2015 09:20 | Dearing and co won the vote, but they will find it hard to win the war. Although Kalla wasn't great for the share price he was seemed to be liked. | trevorm2 |
