Probably something to do with Ian Dearing's request for a General meeting to vote to change the non executive directors.

CIMG will be in on it too.

Before you all get too excited... This latest pop is being reflected in all the junior miners that I own.

Signs of a return to inflation, and growth in industry perhaps?

Of course it doesn't really matter why, except it matters how long it will last.

I believe we will see a major pull-back later in the year as geo-political events unfold, but that will probably be the last chance to buy at these single-digit penny prices EVER.

By next year, inflation in Dollar, Euro and GBP terms will be underway.

So, all I am saying is, keep a little powder dry.

Mineral prices rallying. Gold and copper moving the right way. Not long till the action starts here.

Better to say ever growing LME stockpiles. It seems stocks in other parts of the world are declining.

Well, a short spike in the PM prices (both Gold and Silver) suggesting either a fall in the dollar, or some robust buying (short-covering?) on the PM/Options exchanges.

JPM attempting to corner the silver market?

The weekly chart is starting to look very primed. The coming weeks should be very interesting.

The value of this is well discounted compared to what it would be post -mugabe in my view. There is no doubt that a more "normal" price would be put on the assets. I would say if this were in America or Canada its value would be in the 100s of millons of dollars and not 27 million sterling.

Nah, just Nickel to recover a bit more and completion of the smelter Q4 2015. The closer we get to completion of the smelter, the stronger the share price should become, unless the Nickel price completely tanks or there are any major delays from here on out. Of course Gold recovery would help a bit too.

Mugabe dying could actually add a bit of uncertainty couldn't it for a while? I know they've had a purge, but you could still have rival ZANU-PF factions fighting it out and who knows what that could do to the country and business investment. I of course hope that's not the case and it's a relatively peaceful and the low share price already reflects Zimbabwe's particular political risks.

Are we still waiting for Mugabe to die before a decent MWA share price rise?

Goodness knows but it's annoying when they make a personal spat a nuisance for the rest of us.

Interesting article on the draw down of Nickel stockpiles in China. Makes me not worry so much about the record LME stocks, which are peanuts compared to those in China:

hxxp://www.moneymorning.com.au/20150424/why-nickel-is-your-best-bet-for-resource-gains-this-year.html

Nickel seems to have recovered somewhat and is now in the high 13,000s. Who knows where it will go next.
