The driver of the train controls the hand brake, that persons is in charge of the train when it’s moving, when going forwards or backwards.

The break is still on. Vote board members out this summer. They created the hand break.

Has the train left the station yet or is the ‘break’ still on. Share price should be moving.

"Main cloud is the lack of share price momentum, going nowhere for 5 years now. One to monitor for the time being."

What on earth are they talking about - three years ago we were trading at 146p - well over twice the current share price and at the beginning of the pandemic we were trading at £1. Got to be room for significant upside from here based on the PE alone.

Management are doing good things but I fear the share price performance will be limited by a peer group that remains unloved by the market

I think this is now better managed .

The management have got to grips with the problems, bought a business that is now enhancing the overall with a lot less of a cost base.

I can see this rerating over the next 6 months .a pe of 12 would not be unreasonable

Which implies about 50% upside.

Can also see them getting back to a 4p dividend at least .

Also there appears to be a lot more discipline around tendering.

I also think they are now getting contracts as not many lef5 to do them .

Mitie Group plc issued a trading update for Q3 FY22 and also provided guidance for the full year ending 31 March 2022 (FY22). Third quarter revenue including share of joint ventures and associates of £1,008m was up 51% from the same period last year Q3 FY21 £667m, and was also 1% ahead of Q2 FY22. FY22 revenue and operating profit before other items are now expected to be in the region of £3.8bn-£3.9bn and £160m-£165m respectively, both are higher than previously guided. Valuation is a definite positive for the investment case with forward PE ratio of a little over 8 very attractive. Main cloud is the lack of share price momentum, going nowhere for 5 years now. One to monitor for the time being....from WealthOracleAM

The last results were good too and the share price rose but since then it’s cratered. Let’s hope the same thing doesn’t happen again as we come out of the Covid problems?

Yep, plenty of positive signs and evidence of revenue growth, yet here we are with the share price just a tad above where we where this time last year whilst in the midst of lockdown! Crazy.

I am pretty sure I read in the accounts that they expect to make as much money again even without the covid contracts.

I assume this is better integration and better running businesses as well as less competent competition.

Certainly on the large turnover and now rejecting non performing works this is quite possible.

The new car charging business in a few years may be pretty profitable.

Mitre certainly have the connections to roll this out quickly especially govt departments and office and depots.

The other day I noticed that Mitie provide the security for my local Sainsbury's. I now think there should be more Sainsbury's supermarkets, two on every street please....

The fundamentals here point to a much higher SP, the only reason I can think as to why the price is not moving is because of the uncertainty of the Covid related contracts. But if you take them out of the equation, we are in a miles better position than pre-covid. I've been holding for 15 months, just need a little patience.

I agree fidra but sadly it’s not being reflected in the SP!
