Doesn't look like 2021 is going to start off too well. CFEQ opened up 0.9/1.2 and i'm sure they closed last year on 1.1/1.4. Still, if anyones looking for a bargain buy.....

Happy New Year to everyone.

Attracting foreign individuals to Greece:

Over the past 12 months, the Greek government has put in place, for the first time, a triple set of tax incentives targeted exclusively at foreign tax residents who are considering redomiciling to Greece. It is an ambitious plan addressed to a diversified audience: high net worth individuals, retirees wishing to spend time in Greece, expats – including the “brain drain” generation – and the “work from anywhere” crowd.

The new regime is also warmly welcomed by foreign retirees. In addition to the country’s main attraction points – sun, sea, islands – people wishing to spend more time in Greece can now enjoy yet another advantage: an attractive flat 7% final tax for 15 years, following qualification.

If this was such a shoe in, why didn’t the option holders with strike price 1p simply take up their options?Would have raised £100k plus and saved them a lot of tax down the line because of their ‘unapproved217; status?

Rather, they chose to raise more money at the allegedly low SP

This tells me there is nothing coming for a while yet

I’ve been here since 2008, I’m giving them this final chance to get some tangible progress, otherwise I’ll just cut my losses , I really hope we get this over the line and we can all have an early 2021 celebration

Must be the "things" that the Chairman aptly referred to as "moving forward" hopefully to the head of the project. The update early next year needs to be more specific and not leave us all (as ever)hopelessly dangling.

IMV there is a golden window of opportunity with the Greek govt bending over backwards to encourage a project such as this and it needs to be grasped before that moment is lost. In this environment there should still be many interested in the opportunity to develop a ten square mile "plot" of land in an area of outstanding beauty with numerous coves and coastal beaches.

Will you keep finding plenty of good news regarding investing in Greece but at the moment investors don't seem to believe CE will be able to tap into those opportunities.

I have a very strong belief they are wrong but they won't get in at this price when the news is released of what CE has secured when it is released.

2021 is going to be the year that Minoan shareholders see their rewards I'm certain of that.

Greek Foreign Minister speaks on the phone with his UAE counterpart

The UAE recently expressed a strong intention to promote Greece as the strongest tourist destination in the Eastern Mediterranean region. At the same time, state investment companies expressed a strong interest in investments in Greece in the agrifood sector, tourism and real estate.

Well whatever happens I wish everyone all the best.

Hopefully at some time in the future we can all meet and be invested in a Company that has open and honest Directors who do what they say they will do.

News ‘early’ in the New Year is what the announcement this week said - to me ‘early’ means in the first 6 weeks.
The MM have been restricting buys/sells for a few weeks now - they haven’t a clue where MIN is going.

Minister: Greek Tourism Fresh Ground for Investments

Greek Tourism Minister Harry Theoharis invited investors to bet on Greece and particularly on the potential of the tourism sector where there is plenty of space of growth.

“There are significant investment opportunities in many sectors of the Greek market and, mainly, in areas concerning the upgrade and construction of new hotels, the promotion of special forms of tourism, the construction of marinas and theme parks,” said Theoharis.

Dc I can’t/explain it.

My guess is the market makers do not want to hold this stock so they are matching buys with sells.I:noticed the spread today was unusually tight.

Anyone explain why all the spaced out 1.25p buys of 910,681 are then matched to the share with a sell at 4.29pm .01p lower @1.24p?
Were they buys, was there a sell?
I’m confused.

Don't think people are investing in this Chairman, rather investing despite the Chairman. It's the asset, most, including the auditor are under the impression, illusion maybe, that this is worth a multiple of the current mc and at some point someone, somewhere will recognise and buy it or into it. Doubts must however be raised that after the many years since the pp no one it seems has shown any interest at any price? Why, where is the poison?

Maybe the second question is ''why would you invest in this Executive Chairman''?

Maybe current holders could explain?

I think the first question has to be why the NEDS have never replaced the repetitively failed Executive Chairman, and have supported his stance to never update shareholders, whilst hiding behind extremely clever use of the English dictionary, designed to mislead.

He is not alone. I know of one CEO, who has kept his job after informing Private Investors that ''Revenues are building nicely'' and then came in with £148k Half Year Revenues. And guess what. PI's still supported him.

Unbelievable but true.

The fact there have been x2 attempted no-confidence votes here tells its own story?
