Well my fill or kill did eventually get filled Hugo, but when I tried to buy again after that it was again not possible to get a quote, so I've got another fill or kill in now and still waiting. Have you managed to buy this morning without it going to negotiated trade?

Well I couldn't even get a £400 top up earlier so I put a fill or kill order on and that still hasn't been filled. I'm therefore pretty sure that Mirex, who are the only market maker on the ask, don't really have many to sell.

I agree number of shares available is very limited - since well before Xmas the MMs have been very careful to only sell what they have bought. The good news is that as soon as shares are sold they find a buyer very quickly. We could test the 1.5 resistance level next week.

Yes my anecdotal feeling was there has been a lot more buys than sells in the recent past. Where do they get all the shares from? I don't think it will take much buying next week to get the price going again.

FWIW this month's transactions 11,002,847 bought and 7,746,390 sold i.e. net to the buys so far this month 3,256,457 - where have they materialised from?? Mm's not been keen to part with many on-line at lower levels anyway but we shall see if they were holding back a few for selling at higher prices. There has been a scarcity of shares for quite a while now and it would appear that they haven't been keen recently to hold many. It also seems like shares have been sold by them during the day and a late afternoon seller balancing the books up at the close. Significantly the buying on Thurs and Fri didn't conclude with any from the seller so it will presumably be that much harder for the demand to be filled, thats if it continues.
THere have also been two more new entrants to level 2 - one arrived a couple of months ago whose name escapes me but most probably bought some shares in the recent placing and is (i'm guessing here) selling them by filling specific orders as they aren't at the top of the level 2 pecking order.
Bodes well for thefuture two additional recent entrants - must think its going to be worth it with business to be had.
Incidentally what started it all off yesterday IMV was the other mm/broker Marx turned up about an hour late, they were at the head of the list at the close thurs and not filling that position on Fri meant the share price was blue straight away and it went from there with more buying esp the 1.3M bought mid-morning, which was delayed from the list until the afternoon.
Make of that what you will - But IMV it all bodes well for the future.

Well no late resported sells, just a 100k buy, so it really does look like the downward pressure has been removed with buys massively outnumbering sells today and the stock showing much greater liquidity, which in itself makes it more attractive to investors.

Here's looking forward to further gains next week, with or without some news, as you need to be in it to win it.

Will be interesting to see if seller reappears at end of day.
I think we could be seeing new base level if we hold at this price today.

It appears the buyer has exited stage left so it seems to me that the field is now open for further rises. The 250k yesterday at 0.99 was me as was the 100k at 1.2 this morning and just now at 1.19. I may well be in for more.....

The 50k at 1.19 is a buy from me. I couldn't get a firm quote which in itself says a lot, so I placed a fill or kill order. If anyone wants to top up that is proably the way to go before it ticks up again.

Of all mornings to (a) be having a good lie in and (b) find that my broadband had gone down. Now fixed though and great to see that I am now in profit. Cantors on the bid but worth noting that the house broker is now looking for 1.6p on the ask. I guess they know that news is coming....
