Can anyone advise where I can move my canadian manganese / buchans resources holdings that barclays have since Minco days ?

My Bitdefender Total Security is once again not allowing me to view the Minco Exploration web site warning that it attempts to install software on my computer that may be harmful?? Anyone else having problems with the Minco website?

It’s not down to the company. They have created a listing. You need to get a platform

I have found it relatively easy to transfer my holdings to a UK broker who is now holding the stock settled to trade.

Yeah it really is Ardtole they don't make it easy. Think the more people that e-mail the company, they'll eventually have to put something in place for UK holders.

You get a reply lendmeafiver? Just got one and she's stated the only way right now is to find a "broker that has a Canadian Custodian that can clear the shares through the CDS system." I've asked about a CDI being setup.

Looks like in CDMN we have a Grand old Duke of York share and today seems to be a back down the hill day.... If these get to a dollar Canadian I'll be happy. Gla.!

Like some of the longterm holders here I fully intended to sell at the first opportunity. Not any more. CDMN has come in at a fair price and I think it will settle over the 50 cent mark in the next few weeks. Each bit of positive news from now on should see it reach new levels. A Canadian Dollar might not be far off.

teemore - if you want to be pedantic that up to you - the old Minco Plc which was taken over. All I was trying to state was it were previously listed on the UK AIM market before it were split up. Therefore, I would have expected they would of at least given all of the subsequent 3 companies the chance to settle via CREST - as there will be a number of UK holders who were given the shares after the demerger.

No Minco PLC was acquired/sold first.

Minco was not taken over -it was delisted similar to Buchans. Minco had a private placing approx. two years ago, but have yet to re-list, at least that was my analysis of same. I too would have been much happier to have retained the asset in the gold project.

I well remember when Dalradian cashed out shareholders including those who acquired their shares because of the Minco NSR. I was somewhat less than happy at the time. Canadian Manganese shares are trading at relatively low volumes and it may take a while before they 'settle down' and reflect the market's longer term valuation. I hope there is good news along the way to sustain and grow the market price. Gla.

I well remember getting the cash from the original London listed Minco sale, maybe some have forgotten how we got here, maybe confused by the fact we are relisting a company called Minco in Dublin soon (I hope).
