Well there is a lot of bearishness out there related to rates etc

Here is another perspective. May as well have both

The previous 2 days was a big set up. it shaped fundamental and even technical thoughts into today

but they missed something..........

Im not saying this as expected prices , but just an example. A view can one day be right, but executed too early

Say metro bank hits 6p and 4 bags - and according to media, the view you gave is reason

It's got to align with markets time. or being right can make zero, even loose

A reasonable post. I am open minded. Always willing to go with market. i just dont see it aligning with the view yet

My biggest concern with MTRO (and I fundamentally think it is under-valued) was that the change in branch hours would affect the customer base. Although widely reported, it looks like that has not happened, at least not yet. They started the reduced hours and no opening on Sunday from yesterday which should see a huge down tick in costs in the next quarter. I still think this is a no brainer long term.

i think you would agree, not a sign of a fund post financials, open market or off book.

In the interim, this will go back to 30s fast in market terms

It wont close below 30 whichever day

But open well below it next day

Thats the script, imo

It was a decrease after the promo, most likely due to trying to cut the deposits costs of promo etc

need to see this quarter for true gauge

The decrease in March was 0.2% so normal 'noise'.

Got it all but never mention any of those market numbers here

Suffice to say, bearish

Looking at the buy/sell most of the action is on the buy side. Is there a big seller/shorter somewhere in the back whose share transactions are not being reported? Anyone have access to level 2 I would be interested in the order book.

But a decrease once the promo was over and trying to cut costs of deposits late this quarter. Big rollover numbers to come in coming months

I was pleased by the trading update today. 50,000 new customers in the 1st quarter, deposits up 4% and cost cutting seems to be a priority. I would have expected an uptick in the share price so surprised to see a fall. What am I missing?

Sad to say, only another 99% to fall from today

Awful that the FCA, whilst on their financial crimes monitoring list, and pivoting to the casino sub sector, are allowing this to trade on the stock market

But i guess if allowed it from 4400p to 30p, no point stopping it now

vlad the impaler
