Posted at 16/10/2009 23:58 by stig2 For anyone following I have now sold up which I have a horrible feeling will be a mistake in long hindsight. I have'nt got the guts to hang in when I really don't know whats going on, though I still maintain there is more to this than meets the eye. True to form the price rose when I sold and to date the 50000+ shares I sold before the close on the 15th still have not been shown on any trade pages I have seen and it looks like it went in one go and not as a T trade (and they say trading is transparent and straightforward in these modern times:-). |

Posted at 25/3/2009 02:42 by stig2 I'm still in and still feel that something is going on, there is some very funny horse trading in this share. The price doesn't work as it should do against buy/sells. Thinking there will be some sort of offer eventually and to be honest I thought the price was being walked down to help it, lots of 1800 share sells only to be bought back in 3600 trades at the end of the day but the price always loses more on the sells that it gains from the same buys. Anyway time will tell as always. |
Posted at 13/3/2009 08:24 by qwazi Anyone in this? Results yesterday at first glance seem okay. NAV of 327p against a current share price of 15p (a mere 95% discount). Development projects put on hold until credit crunch eases but has a number of existing investments that are generating rent of around EUR 17m a year. Currently has EUR 30m of cash on the balance sheet but admits that it will be depleted through working cap requirements and loan repayments. Overall gearing is not too high at 39%. Initially doesn't look hugely different from the other EE developers but the chairman bought 100,000 shares yesterday - and director buying is still a rare site in these overseas property companies. |
Posted at 24/9/2008 09:23 by m.t.glass Ablon (ABL) half-year results today(advfn have not flagged today's results RNS on monitors) Despite the chairman's optimistic comment, what was a net operating half-year profit of 23,578,000 euros to June last year is now a loss of 22,826,000 to June this year. Earnings per share go from 0.17 positive to 0.11 negative, and dividend is cancelled. There's a conference call at 3pm today |
