One must go now. I opened a door and the work load it created, had me close it in 5 weeks. Still managed to give myself 16 hours work per day

That wasn't clever tbf

Have you ever been positive on any stock ever II? I'd try some other pursuit if I were you. You, like many others on here, are not suited to this game.

I see no value to anyone in offering opinion elsewhere.

Numbers/prices can be of value. Fk all else. Sometimes its interesting to see fundamental reasonings at prices but I never give

Forums however, numbers are a bit boring. Great for worthless opinions 😂

Doesn't really matter what game I'm suited to.

Has no relevance on the numbers for anyone, even tbòse it suits :)

Stating the facts. In fact, funds have been slaughtered here too. But they don't paint it this way

2016 investors :

Cash input minus 75%
Cash value, down 31% per 100K

Yield return?

It doesnt get any prettier on a YoY basis either

If the numbers were positive, I would be

As time went on, now yield has little to no value in risk terms, unless at a basket case level. Which it is, yet still not adding much lop

I don't think yield paid any holder a capital net, for years. Very few anyway.

Cash purchase power has gone something like services @2016 £100K, now £130K

Truly slaughtered

It was wholly an income buy case. Certainly not a holder capital growth case

It has neither now in my book

Yield a total fkn waste. Because anyone after income can go much safer or risk free

No chance of itv ever truly rising with yield above 0%, for a start

Anything above zero is a useless net debt

Add to that, ITV share price was falling a few years when rates elsewhere were zero or negative

Get rid usually comes when funds are fully adjusted
You can see that in share price It's common share price years pre a yield kill

Plus, the gap between safe fixed returns and yield here now for funds with access to the best deals, is negligible

So they have ro make a decision on the capital alone re if its safe here

Not seeing many cases for that

But overall given rates avaliable elsewhere, the funds will suddenly see yield as an itv extra debt, that needs sorting

When yield offers no holder value v opportunity cost plus capital risk , what's the point paying it ?
Time ro get rid

It's yield is double the industry average. But nothing else is in financial net operational terms

Anyway this buyback won't go down well at all with market. Awful waste of money

Well that's one way of looking at itv On the other hand, it always had a few decent ratios albeit varying yearly, since 2016 280s

Must be something market doesn't like.

Why not? Dividend cover is 1.7 (very healthy), and ITVx is booming.
