Only problem is I’m short in FTSE and S&P but I hope by the time I close short I see metro around 120p

Smartie, apparently May and Jun is when CV will peak. I agree market will continue to overreact. I can't imagine the state of it if CV spreads across 10% of the population.

Look at the vix index today, at 50. When I was in dialogue with SR only 2days ago it was 32. Too volatile for any investment at moment for me. Protection of wealth is my own objective.

Pione3r, I’ve set my own stall out to wait and although I know difficult, especially on rises, I’m going to steadfast.
They are going to throw the kitchen sink at this, imo, re fiscal policies across the world which I feel will damage the worldwide economy more. Negative interest rates in US looks crazy doesn’t it?
I’ve sat and watched CNN for 3days now and the behavioural management of some with their own agendas has absolutely annoyed me.
For the time being I’ll watch, wish everyone the best, and when I invest it will be for at least a 5year period with the intention to double my money.

smartie, there has been some recovery since morning. I've been trying to buy IAG for 380, it was down 6% and now finished above 2%.

My view is bargain hunting will begin very soon.

Errr, yes absolutely fraud. They posted they had a large holding and shareprice went up. Several days later it was a mistake - they never had that holding. If they did unload ANY shares in that period, then that IS fraud - making money out of false representation.

If they didn't and non of there connected people didn't then it could be an honest mistake, but even that mistake should have implications.

Not sure though if purpose was to unload.. as that could have been a 2 levels chess target... Get people panick when realized not true to allow friends to buy more for cheap
