Skrrrr, they aren’t, hence the growth plan suspended, job cuts, etc. Etc.
Realisation that the high street is redundant.
Next thing on the horizon will be dilution before death of the company if you ask me. Death of the company may even come first if there is a run. Which I’m half expecting if honest.

There was a greater chance of a TO with the previous Ceo in charge. But with a new Ceo, they'll be out to make a name for themselves and spin a rosy picture of 5 years in the future. In this case, its clear the bank has no future as is, I refuse to believe that management are blind to that

Do you know Skrrrr, I never believed that there was any sale lined up. Call me naive but I just didn’t believe it, especially with the management team in charge.

Smartie, my suspicion on the 26th was that a sale had fallen through and they were free-wheeling it on a cigarette packet strategy. This is looking increasingly like the case. Should have announced an intention to sell the bank on 26th, but they thought they could resurrect Lazarus

Out of all the banks this is quite difficult to fathom -

Maybe there is a problem with its business model which shorters are eyeing up -

Service for this bank is exceptional imho but will that cut it? -

Glad I exited at a small loss on 26th, this is unbelievable whats happened to this bank. The new CEO and his strategy have bombed imo, needs to be a forced sale at distressed valuations. Terrible, this had potential at one point

What a liar you are PPE, if you admitted how much you are underwater then I’d respect you.
I’m not shorting but I guess we feel that anything service related is going to take a hit. Energy too, but wouldn’t recommend either way. I’m personally watching Cineworld at moment, mainly out of interest as I go there from time to time.
I’m loving how resolute Tesco has been.

Right, shorting Hammerson at 184. MTRO at 128 if it hits.
