Nano nano, closed short, had bought shares last year after apple deal got cancelled at circa 6p+, current share price 11p so will hold and see what happens by the time of next rights issue..the gain I can sit on for a while...wonder when the Fed will turn on qe taps cant be long. Will take a view on this..Metro probably over sold right now.

It is probably true they bought. They only comment on holdings I think

But that in itself makes it deeply biased

It took several trades to get out - most shares per trade to get a quote was 3000. That sucks. Lot of work

SUK2 I can trade much larger volumes. AAZ looks stonking but trying to build or liquidate a position tricky.

I'm shorting Armageddon if anyone is interested and currently on Ebay I'm selling hand sanitizer at £20 each or two for £35..unfortunately just the small size with no guarantee of delivery as the postman might not make it through the night, anyone interested?

yeah. It crept upto 180 following the TR1. I almost bought some in my sipp as well but something felt off. It was too big a stake to not have had a bigger impact on share price. Held off making an even bigger mistake.

When it dropped back to 160 it was difficult. Then came the GS 'clarification'. It was a difficult choice, but I felt Friday was going to see a wider meltdown.

Generally, felt the MTRO fall had already factored in so was not expecting metro to fall, but wanted to cut loss and also put funds into ftse short.

So, sold metro and bought suk2 as felt today would be bad. (FTSE 2x short).

No need smartie I have my years supply of baked beans, now 364 days, this year being a leap year I bought an extra tin....Gold doing nicely must count my tax free sovereigns make sure nobody has nicked any or maybe they are just chocolate foiled buttons...still I can eat them though..

chinese investor kindly posted that Goldman Sachs had taken a 8.4% interest in Metro. Actually GS were lying. They never had that position. They posted a few days later a 'correction'.

Annoyingly, it swayed me enough to buy some at 167 which I sold yesterday at 159. Really annoying.
