My financial firepower dwarfs most on these threads, those professing wealth are in fact peasants, so I'll take them all on and wipe them out on the poker table.
If Metro hit a tenner be prepared for a quick double to £20 in short order when the BOD issue a calming statement.

I've been concerned a while hereU cannot get thru to metro on telephone .... customer service lines are really really badWhich goes totally against what they are trying to perceive. Red flag for me .... disarray comes to mind !

Amaretto is correct, buying growth by acquisition is very scary indeed. Risk officer may have lightly scratched the surface and got very worried, advised of concerns and then parting occurred.
Very worrying, any negative media response today could well see a run I guess.
