Maybe one of the advantages of dealing direct with a broker is the wider choice of online dealers. As I say buying 25k at around 14.5p is available in more than one spot.

Hardy Amies has only around 1 million pounds in revenue and I believe that MM had indicated that the acquisition already had a good size turnover, therefore I believe that Hardy amies wouild be to small and probably would not cause to much excitement, but then again I may be wrong.................wbj

Almost impossible to deal online in any amount as mm's dont want to get hit with too many orders. If you phone through you can deal easily. Form your own conclusions.

Not sure where you get your online sizes from but certainly not from same source as my broker. Easy to buy 25k at under 115p.

Agree lex that the old 22.5p now 112.5p seems to be a key point. Throughout the year the price has struggled to sustain itself above this point.

It now seems to be reversing from resistance to support. 1000p and a five for one split here we come (not)!

You could well be right Lex, looks like the "cunning" Market Makers dropped the bid to try and shake out a few more sells.

Summit up. Can only buy max 750 on line full ask @ 115p (113.05p on the bid)MPH going back ^UP methinks.Computer says "BUY" aimvho.mickey makers will continue make a market 110p-125p.Waiting on news.

Not sure, but for menswear I think there are two, Emanuel by Emanuel Ungaro (diffusion line) and Ungaro Homme (RTW, more upmarket).

There is also the womenswear distribution agreement under Emmanuel Ungaro....

Lex well done on CCT and all who sail in her, but its frustrating to see cct's market price of £1.10p with earnings per share of (after one off gains) 5.8p compared with mph earnings of 20p+ this year and trading on a similar level, makes no sense to me. Good luck everyone, it seem the market has a will of its own.....................wbj
PS spend a fortune yesterday so I need some movement in the near future....lol

Indeed, my point earlier. In all the doom and gloom no one saw the bumper harvest coming!

Hardman comment on H2 having a similar bump is good news, their article is well researched and clearly put together after conversations with Morris.

Just need take off for Ungaro now....

After a bumper 2007(surely every firms dream),brokers consensus earnings for 2008 are still nearly 17p eps, on a industry average p/e ratio of 14, then we should be at a share price of £2.38!!!!!!

And that is not allowing for the fantastic potential future for MPH.

I for one will be holding on to my shares in MPH happily taking the divi`s whilst waiting for the market to catch up.
