Well Lex as you know I took your advice at 100p and am very happy.

The results failed to see a good quick rise and I almost jumped for a few % profit but am glad I held on now.

Anyone who followed me into CCT 76p/77p up & more recently 100p-102p will have a smile on their faces this morning.CCT my largest holding by far!Growth and pays a dividend.Will drop back on profit taking.Nice gap up pointing direction.

MPH do not understand why the bloody share has not undergone a re-rating.Needs to break an established trend of rewarding traders,not long term investors.Will get there eventually via the long scenic route.

Trades on PLUS.All sells bar one.Mickey makers happy accumulating shares from sellers. Possibly continue to do so 110p-114p whilst lack of buying interest. Suspect some selling banking profits to catch breakouts elsewhere.Await news on acquisition & trading update.Patience required!

Morning all patience MPH holders, your patience will be rewarded in the new year if not before. Off to Gloucestershire for my first Christmas shopping trip of the year with Mrs wbj, and its going to cost me dear, so come on guys/ladies get this share price moving north. The thing that stuns me the most is that, all through the last year when we were fretting about YSL loss, no-one predicted a double your money bump.

This share has long been kept down by about 5p old, 25p new by the YSL loss issue. We are now in a position where the company has effectively had a free year income, allowing them the time and space to build for the future.

I for one never foresaw it working out that way. If this was as IPO it would be at 200p plus on potential.

I suppose our biggest worry now is the YSL bumper sell through not getting in the way of the new Ungaro product.

Within a year JCC will be delivering £1m plus profit and accelerating from there as the huge perfume revenues kick in. A success story.

For anyone worrying about Ungaro, look at the track record of Mounir Moufarrige, and look at the MPH sales history on YSL since 2001/2. These guys know how to build a brand, further validated by the JCC success. JCC is said by the media in France to be having his comeback year, the brand profile has been substantially raised.


Onwards & upwards, mind out for the elephants!

Well I still reckon either the Market Makers have a significant buyer of MPH stock to supply or they have been given the "Nod" of good news to come. They are still absorbing ALL the sells on both the Plus market and the LSE.

Unless there is short covering going on which is most unlikely, then the PI may well take advantage of an Elephant trampling through the Jungle with large footprints.

Very quiet start to week, but at least in the right direction, be good to see a more detailed trading statement, probably early January with the acquisition news, keep holding tight everyone support at 120p soon then 125, 130 and so on............wbj
