26/4/2021 16:25 | Nice day, hopefully a move back towards £1.80. | essentialinvestor
20/4/2021 13:48 | That's incorrect, on two fronts - well dependent how you define lots of debt post disposal funds. 1.78 my highest recent sell prices, I've now added 80% of those back. Missed the 1.81 plus yesterday morning unfortunately. MRO share price fiercely volatile atm with the pandemic backdrop and their sector exposure. Even pre pandemic it was usually a stock that got clobbered on risk off sentiment. | essentialinvestor
19/4/2021 20:32 | Just left with GKN going forwards and lots of debt still. I exited a few weeks back and still happy with that. | topvest
19/4/2021 16:27 | SP is bang in the middle of a range since mid November. If markets were to get messy then towards £1.40 again is a possibility, on a 2/3 year view it looks reasonable risk/reward. One important proviso to that- we are not still in a global pandemic in 2 years time. | essentialinvestor
19/4/2021 16:22 | As the statement commented, you can add $1bln of earnings to that valuation taken, a good price if you look at the results statement regarding recent returns from Nortek. MRO needs to shore up its balance sheet s little after last years hit to returns from GKN. | bookbroker
19/4/2021 16:06 | Except - MRO has retained 27% of that business and benefited from the cashflow since acquisition. Added a few. | essentialinvestor
19/4/2021 16:04 | Nortek Bought 2016 @ £2.2B with Dow @ 18000; sold 2021 @£2.6B with Dow at 32000.Would have done better investing in the Index. | ryelodge
19/4/2021 15:09 | Attempting to rationalise short term stock specific moves is a way to the poor house. | essentialinvestor
19/4/2021 14:00 | Sell the news event but yet good news. New lockdowns in multiple countries may well delay recovery in the airline manufacturing market - that's perhaps capping upside atm. | essentialinvestor
19/4/2021 10:56 | Market always expects more, but a fair exit price. Had been the plan for some time to Nortek, the real improvement will come within GKN, obviously the aerospace division poleaxed by Covid, but the driveline business will see significant improvement with its market share and technological advantages. Today’s sale will certainly soothe lenders and bond holders concerns, but this company is all about improving businesses. Who knows they might see some further opportunities, right now it is all about recovery in their markets. | bookbroker
19/4/2021 10:29 | The sale hasn't happened yet, there's still much that can happen beforehand, Mr Market is taking the cautious view but MRO have track history in closing these deals at profit and providing good returns for shareholders.220p on completion IMHO. | yertiz |
