I'm just having a quick look at the Socialist Worker's website. It's alarming. They blame everybody but the Labour left for losing the election. They bemoan the lack of strikes to provide muscle to the Labour campaign. They glorify the anarchy in France. They present the proper response to a democratic vote as being mobs agitating in the street.

These people are mad, bad and dangerous to know. Their influence on the young is utterly pernicious.

Unbelievable that people are out protesting against the outcome of the democratic process.

The central core idea of democracy is that you should accept the result even when it goes against you. If you are not willing to do that then you don't believe in democracy.

What do the protestors want? Mob rule?

Getting, I note from the YouGov poll analysis that the average age people change from Labour to Conservative is now 40, down from 47, so the loss of the older voter is more than compensated for since average longevity has been increasing.
