28/11/2019 23:04 | If it's a night out with meanwhile I'll go £50-00 a share but I really think £2-47 | mattboxy
28/11/2019 23:01 | I haven’t made my prediction yet Ryelodge! | gettingrichslow
28/11/2019 22:22 | The winsome threesome seem to be forming a mass retreat from the £3.Lack of confidence in the Management? | sliotar
28/11/2019 21:14 | Getting, are you suggesting a “personality I do hope I lose!!! | brexitplus
28/11/2019 19:17 | Sliotar is already there! And Ryelodge obviously. I wonder if all 3 will enter, and if so, whether they will all have the same forecast?! | gettingrichslow
28/11/2019 19:04 | 252p from me. Re the prize, I’m happy Sliotar to take my place should I win. | brexitplus
28/11/2019 18:09 | Rather not, couldn't imagine a more boring venue than Weatherspoons compounded with the most boring companion in Meanwhile. I wonder if he'd bring his wallet for its annual airing? My forecast is £2.67 | yertiz
28/11/2019 16:58 | Right, it’s that time of year again - time for the traditional Christmas share price prediction competition! The question is: “What will the closing share price be on Christmas Eve 2019?” Submissions by 5pm Sunday 01 December please? I believe the last 2 champions were Casey the Dog and Mattboxy but I may have got that wrong. The winner gets a night out with Meanwhile in the Wrexham Wetherspoons. | gettingrichslow
28/11/2019 16:36 | Melrose: RBC Capital Markets reiterates outperform with a target price of 265p. | brexitplus
27/11/2019 16:06 | As I posted yesterday “Looking good again today, but will probably drop as usual over the next few days before a further climb. Pleasing developments in GKN will hopefully impress knowledgeable investors.” Profit taking this morning set the tone but biggish buys this afternoon. | brexitplus
27/11/2019 15:24 | Out today, luck to those holding. | essentialinvestor
27/11/2019 15:21 | getting, As a recovering 'Fregoloid', you must remember :- Sliotar and MEANWHILE are not the same person. | meanwhile
27/11/2019 14:54 | In Manchester today - what a mess! Homeless situation is worst I’ve seen in the UK. Dog poo on the pavements. Sick not cleaned up outside bars in the Northern Quarter. Not good. I thought Manchester was meant to be the most buoyant place in the North - if that’s right then I don’t fancy going to the worst bits. | gettingrichslow
27/11/2019 14:33 | Excuses.....excuses! | sliotar
27/11/2019 14:31 | You just don't get it do you Sliotar/Meanwhile? My £3 by Xmas wasn't a forecast, more a friendly punt in the dark of what would'a, should'a could'a been if all Melrose's numbers came up. Namely selling off Nortek for a handsome profit (still likely to happen), turnaround of GKN's fortunes (happening now) and completion of Brexit (about to happen). It does seem much more likely MRO will be a lot closer to that mark in 4 weeks even without Nortek's disposal, making MRO very attractive indeed. Still, if you are Meanwhile in disguise, I'm just wasting my time with you. | yertiz
27/11/2019 14:08 | Wow. That’s 3 financial wizards whose MRO price forecasts were out by only 3 years. Financial analysis not their strongpoint. Talk about a day late and a dollar short. | sliotar
27/11/2019 11:33 | Peel Hunt: ‘tremendous&rs Engineering buyout specialist Melrose (MRON) has delivered ‘relentless progress’ and it is a ‘must-own&rsqu Analyst Harry Philips retained his ‘buy’ recommendation and increased his target price from 240p to 250p. The shares rose 2.5% to 237.9p yesterday. ‘Melrose spent the first eight months of the year being treated as a pure-play auto component stock but reassuring interims, and the subsequent trading update… have restored investor confidence,’ he said. He said the shares had a ‘tremendous track record’ with 23.6% average annual shareholder return since its first acquisition in 2005. ‘Given these returns, we continue to view Melrose as a must-own stock with the debate around timing,’ said Philips. | eipgam
27/11/2019 10:36 | Thanks Tournesol By the way, are we going to have the Melrose year end competition again. Or are we already decided on £3?😊😊 | brexitplus
27/11/2019 10:31 | B+ Incidentally, if you do get to the Gulbenkian make a point to have lunch there. It's utterly fantastic and amazingly cheap. It's been set up to showcase Portuguese food and it's so successful that all the local residents and office workers use it as a canteen - its a v relaxed cafeteria vibe. But the food was amongst the very best we had in Portugal and possibly the cheapest. T | tournesol
27/11/2019 10:22 | Sliotar can’t seem to get anything correct. Remind you of anyone? | gettingrichslow
27/11/2019 10:08 | I think not, Sliotar. It was I who predicted £3 in 2017. Do wish you'd get your facts right. Are you sure you aren't Meanwhile? | yertiz
27/11/2019 09:56 | The same two financial wizards on this board were forecasting £3 by Christmas in 2017 and 2018. Let’s hope it’s third time lucky. | sliotar
27/11/2019 08:16 | B+ Great place Lisbon. Worked there for 3 months in early 80's. Went back last year and enjoyed it immensely. Strongly recommend Gulbenkian Museum - IMHO it's one of the best in the world - I'd never heard of it before our recent visit but it was the highlight of the trip. Fabulous food and wine. Hope you enjoy the trip. T | tournesol |
