B+ thanks for two more very interesting news releases which I would never normally see.

I can't avoid correcting the American executive when he said :-
"GKN Aerospace brings more than 100 years of aerospace development and extraordinary aerostructures expertise"

I always thought GKN were bashing out Whitworth and UNC/UNF nuts and bolts a hundred years ago. Well I suppose some of those early 1919 aircraft did use GKN nuts and bolts so he's not wrong haha.

If my medical condition means I'm not on here too much in the comming weeks please accept my best wishes to you (and all the regulars) for Christmas, hope to see you all in the New Year.

GKN news is normally released on the relevant websites. I google GKN news regularly to see what is going on.

I suppose these releases do not affect the Melrose financial position so not released.

Getting, Ive thought for a while that Melrose might look at part or all of Senior as a bolt on to GKN Aero.

Ris in the pound hitting companies like Melrose today withlots of overseas earnings.

My £2.52 looking a bit shaky on this.

1 week to election day and the stock market seems to have fully discounted the possibility of any Corbyn involvement in the next Government.
We may therefore not see much of a rebound even when, as expected, the Tories win a good majority.

I expect Minerve to return to our board following the election. I hope we can all just get along.

I also understand that Stephen Kinnock, a big EU fan, is already being groomed to take over from Corbyn, creating the 'Kinnock Dynasty'. I suppose he would then at least be able to buy himself his own clothes instead of using his little lad's suits.

Fantastic pork in St John tonight with Brittany Cidre. No idea how they manage to do a meal of that quality for under £100 a head but they do! Just over a week to go until the election and there is a lot of debate in London wine bars of a Labour minority government. Is anyone else on here up all night trading the election?

Hi Losos, the raised beds and beehive were earlier in the year. Actually the beehive is a compost bin. Currently am working on some cages for the raised beds - pidgeons getting after my purple sprouting!!!
