jackdaw4243 Is the divi safe ? Who knows, Mrs. Losos has held a few of these for decades, she ain't selling now, might be a wrong decision but we'll just have to see.

I think people often get escorted out of their local pub at some time in their life (Usually when in their twenties) rowdy behaviour and bad language is more or less the norm some nights in the pub. As someone pointed out it's also more or less the norm for everywhere else now, including public forums like this, but that doesn't mean I have to accept it or revert to such language. It's all a question of time and place this forum is not the time or the place, your 'Horse & Hounds quiz night' was probably the perfect place.

Anyway I'm having a long weekend away now so wish you all (Bar one) a fine time, may the weather be good and you all have fun. See you Monday.

One of the low points of my life was being escorted out of my local pub called the "Horse and Hounds Quiz Night". Huddersfield.

It was for giving an in an inappropriate answer to the question.

"where do women have the curliest hair"

The correct answer I was told was "Tonga"

B+ All I was doing is trying to help him and his wife. She could write it up in the Lancet, then go on an American lecture tour, then maybe a book, and who knows what next. It could make them a load of money. Most of the stuff these trick cyclists come up with don't exist anyway but some people sure make lots of money out of them haha.

Oh well you try to help and don't get appreciated. I'm off to have some fun and trust you will be doing same, bye for now :-)

So after months of deteriorating AA share price declines, the 'fart in the lift' (not my name, that's what others on the LLOY board call him) tells us he has sold out. Hmmmmm...just after telling us all that he is a master investor, a professional no less, and how you have to take losses to build a serious stake blah blah, it's all about the fundamentals, not the short term share price blah blah. So what changed in his thesis the investment world wonders? Was there ever a thesis even? Did he just make the whole thing up to impress his lapdog, Meanwhile? So many questions, but so unlikely to get any coherent answers.

Another bad day for Melrose. Up nearly 6%.

Only 3rd highest FTSE100 riser after after JMAT and NMC.

I like Carol Kirkwood, but she seems to have put on a bit of weight recently.
