Hi Yertiz

Good day for you. Good win for Exeter 2nds and Argyle look to have been all over Stevenage.

Gloucester left their win late yesterday, and England with a little luck would have won.

Losos, like you I have no idea what the paranoid Donald is saying. Probably the normal load of old rubbish.

Now come on, pull yourselves together.
Can't you all just get along, like I do?

"Well I have to tell you that I went through exactly the same steps some three months back. There was talk about reconciliation by someone (might have been you) so I did what I don't normally do and UNfiltered the name, and like you I found that rather than post something sensible, it was worse. I don't mind forgiving someone once, but that's it, back on filter and NEVER again will that decision change."

Wow, what a loss to me! LOL

It's not that idiots on this site play a big part in my life anyway, but Losos adds absolutely zip to investing ideas and know how. Actually same for getting and Brexitplus - they are just 'punt chimps'. Plenty of those here, two-to-a-penny. Back to Losos, if I want an old fart waxing lyrical about a couple of dogs and talking like they are humans I can always visit the local old folk's home.

This is ADVFN you turnip! Not a petting zoo. ROFLMAO!

MEANWHILE - "Minerve, who I had filtered yesterday because of foul language and generally bad sentiment, posted again today. I trusted that he may have reformed and took a look at this latest post.
Sadly, I was wrong, he hadn't changed at all. In fact, if anything he's marginally worse."

No nothing in 'Horse & Hound' this month either haha.

Hi B+, Losos and GRS - another week gone, still waiting for the Santa Rally to kick in, strange really as everywhere I look there's Xmas paraphernalia to be seen, music heard and adverts now on TV - and we haven't got past Remembrance/Armistice day yet!

Arix - I have a small holding there, but Syncona was a hoop jumping exercise with my broker. I'm now in the process of changing said brokerage for Hargreaves lansdown who, on the advice of GRS seem to be the best of a bad bunch - but nowhere as bad as the wa... sorry..bankers - none of who I would touch with a bargepole. Been with my broker for many years, but as previously stated, loyalty counts for nothing this day and age. HL seem to provide everything I need when dealing in ISA stocks (no funds) and pay a nice little bonus too!

Missed Charlie's appearance on the box. He was never the sharpest tool in the box, especially in the RN, but he made it through to the end, even taking command of a ship or two (ably assisted by seasoned sailors, I might add). His brother, Andrew, isn't held in such high regard - leech, sponger, freeloader, too much of Mark Thatcher about him, gets too much from the public purse and delivers so little. He apparently is a business ambassador for UK plc, gets him into clubs and the higher echelons of dining we could only dream of with little or no return. When Charles acceeds to the throne, the Monarchy will change and will have to modernise substantially.

I'm making no comment about others on here, except to welcome MW back into the fold after seeing the light and realising the poison that the fart in the lift spewed out showered all and sundry. Now there's a character that deserves all he gets, and none of it good. Apologies for lowering my standards in a previous post, not my usual self.

Have a great weekend - big day tomorrow - Lest you forget!

Losos, Yertiz

Did you see the excellent programme on Prince Charles the other night? Although many may criticise him, his charities are doing a fantastic job for youngsters with 900,000 helped over the last 40 years and many, many thousands of businesses set up with help and support from the Prince’s Trust. In the early 2000s I was lucky to meet him when I acted as a Business MENTOR (just to please MW) for the Trust. He was, and is, incredibly positive, both for our Country and youth. I wish I was as focussed and could work the long hours he does!!!!

And Losos, well done for not being drawn in!!!!

Agree about Donald and Beetle Juice. One and the same. And definite signs of paranoia, as shown by the attack on Losos, as defined by Mind

“Paranoia is thinking and feeling as if you are under threat even though there is no (or very little) evidence that you are. Paranoid thoughts can also be described as delusions.

Paranoid thoughts could also be exaggerated suspicions. For example, someone made a nasty comment about you once, and you believe that they are directing a hate campaign against you.

In paranoia, your fears become amplified and everyone you meet becomes drawn into that web. You become the centre of a threatening universe.”

Hi Yertiz

Have you looked at Syncona recently. One of its top holdings, Autolus, is motoring along pushing the NAV up considerably. I’m not sure what a good entry point is. Syncona held up well during the recent drop.

ARIX Bioscience, which I also hold, jumped 7.5% yesterday. It too has a substantial holding in Autolus.

Here’s the reason for the RR fall. More engine problems. What next you have to ask yourself. The only way is down. Poor management.

“Rolls-Royce has warned of fresh problems affecting around 200 of its engines, further damaging the engineer’s reputation for reliability.

The company has revealed that about one in 10 of its Trent 700 engines need repairs because of corrosion to turbine blades.

Rolls told operators of the engine, which powers the Airbus A330 airliner, that the problem does not require an immediate fix.

A spokesman for the company said that issue affects the high pressure turbine on engines that have been “operating in a particular environment", causing the corrosion.

Trent 700s are one of Rolls’ most profitable engines, with the company currently building its 2,000th unit at its Derby base.”

MW, you'd better not look at the Lloyds board today then, where the 'fart in the lift' has started using a 4 letter word beginning with C left right and centre.

I'm obviously far too trusting and forgiving, and I think my history of personal interactions on this site, going way back, will support this hypothesis.

Minerve, who I had filtered yesterday because of foul language and generally bad sentiment, posted again today. I trusted that he may have reformed and took a look at this latest post.
Sadly, I was wrong, he hadn't changed at all. In fact, if anything he's marginally worse.

If you really want to pee off the fart in a lift - just ask him about the shrewd investments he has made, such as AA and RR. Tanking, but the share price doesn't matter, the fundamentals are still sound....

Now what is that expression? Oh yes....ROFLMFAO !

The 'fart in a lift' only has one friend in the virtual world, and that's a made up friend that he is now 'sending private messages' to! I suspect it is much the same case in his real life - no friends, no happiness.

I think it's just complete coincidence that Beetlejuice only ever pops up when 'the fart in the lift' has declared he is leaving. And complete coincidence that he uses the exact same expressions ('fanboy', 'chimp' etc) and only posts on the same boards too...
