07/11/2018 20:53 | MW, what a lovely post from you. It shows you have a heart. In the interests of your psychiatric analysis, I've just had a look at Ryelodge's posts and sure enough they almost always follow on from something you've posted! Usually within a few minutes! Now sure, there may be another plausible scientific explanation for this but I'm damned if I can think of one? | gettingrichslow
07/11/2018 18:21 | Losos, sorry to hear your news and best wishes to you. Good to hear you've recovered. Agree with your point on the news snippets from B+. Saves others a lot of time and hassle, but clearly not everyone seems to see it like that, even though to me and you it's obvious! | gettingrichslow
07/11/2018 18:07 | B+ - "The Three Musketeers - "One for all, and all for one"" I thank you kindly for inclusion is such a prestigeous group :-) I also apologise for my absence recently, a few weeks ago we lost Lara one of our two Newfoundlands, a beautiful dog and a faithful freind to the end. I was reluctant to post at the time since one person on here would be bound to make crude and inappropriate remarks (even 'tho I could not see them) I also collapsed while paying at the local garden centre checkout a week back, managed to see the Doc the same day who diagnosed a severe viral/flu infection and put me on the old anti-biotics. Thankfully a week latter they seem to have worked so I can continue to come on here and support you :-) Whatever you do don't stop posting those GKN news snippets, some people might have time to trawl GKN web site every day but I don't, so it's a real blessing to have whatever you think is worth linking ready for me to just 'click on' thanks. | losos
07/11/2018 15:46 | The best thing about the Test is it may instil a 5 day mentality in the team. I'm pleased for Foakes - judging by the current selection policy he'll be dropped for Bairstow in the next test!!!As we used to say when hammering a team playing rugby, you can only beat the team the opposition puts out. Yes, strange bedmates, Donald and Norman. Am busy installing software on my new iMac. | brexitplus
07/11/2018 15:28 | Sri-Lankans aren't really of any quality, making the England team look good, apart from the first session yesterday! I too frequent the Burford site (hold a few k's worth) and note with some dismay their monikers appearing - thankfully filtered but it raises so many questions on their motivations. I can (sort of) understand why Minerve posts - he is an attention seeker and wind-up merchant, a thoroughly unpleasant one too. We had ways of dealing with his type in the RN, none pleasant or pain free but most worked :) Which brings me on to Meanwhile. What a strange one he is? No originality, no ideas (esp. investing) and no balls. Perhaps he is Mrs. M? | yertiz
07/11/2018 15:00 | Hi Yertiz I think you, Losos and Getting (The Three Musketeers - "One for all, and all for one") are my only friends here. Sogoesit gave up. I've filtered Donald and Norman. They even got over to Burford - Donald I can understand, but Norman just followed like a pooch, poor soul. Happily I've got Syncona with sensible posters. Good going in the cricket!!! | brexitplus
07/11/2018 14:34 | I've filtered MW and M, and also rackerrs1 and elcapital2018. Life is too short to read their dross. I may or may not have been filtered by tournessol - still waiting for a reply. I suppose if none comes, I am :) A pity iii went the way it did - it had better control/management of bb's, higher standard of contributions, much more readable than ADVFN. Now there's a gap in the market! | yertiz
07/11/2018 11:59 | MORE EXCELLENT NEWS FROM GKN Aircraft manufacturer COMAC, GKN Aerospace and AVIC sign Framework Agreement for a joint venture in China * Manufacturing of advanced aerostructures to start late 2021 * Expansion strengthens Asian footprint At the Zhuhai Air Show GKN Aerospace, COMAC subsidiary SAMC (Shanghai Aircraft Manufacturing Company) and AVIC International (Aviation Industry Corporation of China) have today signed a Framework Agreement to establish a joint venture for aerostructures manufacturing in China. This Framework Agreement enshrines the progress made by the parties since signing an MOU in September 2017 and represents a significant milestone in their co-operation together. The joint venture is scheduled to begin production Q4 2021 in a new state-of-the-art facility. Locations are currently being evaluated. The joint venture will manufacture products for the civil aerospace market. This development puts the partners at the heart of the Asian aerospace market which is a key growth market for the future. The new joint venture will open up new business opportunities for GKN Aerospace’s industry-leading aerostructures business and its partners. GKN Aerospace and its partners will, as a result of the joint venture, be able to offer its customers technologically advanced aerostructures, both metallic and composite, that have a proven record in the global market. After the start-up period the scope of the joint venture will be extended to include design and development capability. The expansion to Asia is an important part of GKN Aerospace’s long-term growth strategy and global operating model. This summer GKN Aerospace announced a new wiring systems plant in Pune, India and in October GKN Aerospace officially opened a new aero-engine repair and research plant in Johor Malaysia. GKN Aerospace now operates seven facilities in Asia, delivering wiring systems, transparencies and services in China, India, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Turkey. With this Chinese joint venture, GKN Aerospace’s business will have its first aerostructures venture in the Asian-Pacific region. The establishment of the joint venture is subject to the fulfilment of certain conditions including but not limited to approvals by the relevant authorities. John Pritchard, CEO Aerostructures and Systems Europe and Asia said:“We are proud to extend our footprint in China by working together with our committed partners COMAC, SAMC and AVIC. We foresee that the combination of our joint dedicated teams, technology leadership and extensive aerospace experience will lead to exciting growth opportunities. This will be the first aerostructures venture for GKN Aerospace in China. It strengthens our enduring partnership and commitment with this country. We need to be close to our customers and partners and support the solid growth of the aerospace industry in China.” | brexitplus
07/11/2018 10:11 | "I'm losing track of who has filtered who on here." I'm not surprised, getting, you don't even know who's who anymore. | meanwhile
07/11/2018 09:31 | Hi Tournesol, am I one of your filtered few? Just asking, like. If so, I'd very much like to reciprocate. Nice to see MRO kicking upwards again. Becoming very predictable, a share to consider trading, perhaps? | yertiz

06/11/2018 20:21 | This seems to support the belief that tournesol must be me. | meanwhile
06/11/2018 18:34 | Brexitplus, I've decided to filter you. You post some mildly interesting stuff - but it is just Google search material which is not hard to find. But you behave badly towards other posters you don't like. They might well be annoying or trolls or malcontents, but your unending slagging off is actually worse than the material you object to. There is some comedy value in this situation. This morning you sniped at someone and described them as a geriatric who posts sarcastic comments at other people. That is exactly what you do all the time. How ironic. The people you are targetting do not bother me in the least - I've long since filtered them. Now I'm doing the same to you. There will be little to read here but I do not come here to read long diatribes against people I've filtered. Life is too short. | tournesol
06/11/2018 17:41 | I recall now that tournesol, who hasn't posted for a while, is another person that getting thought was me. | meanwhile
06/11/2018 08:06 | ...I get the feeling there is a home for geriatrics somewhere in the north, possibly Cheshire, called Black Beauty where the inmates come down on the Stannah lift in the morning, sit in a circle not talking to one another but posting sarcastic comments AT one another on iPads…. Now that's what I call irony. | tournesol
05/11/2018 16:56 | Norman, here’s another case study for you. You won’t be able to Google this one!!! “An elderly man living in the north west of Wales, near Snowdonia, confided to a counsellor that when not playing with himself in the bathroom, out of sight of his distraught wife, he spent his time googling medical conditions, music scores, etc, then posting them on Advfn chat boards to please an imaginary friend whom he called minerve who modelled himself on Donald Trump. He sought help since he was unable to break both of the habits. The counsellor suggested he get rid of his computer and concentrate on the long-standing first habit to console himself.” | brexitplus
05/11/2018 16:48 | I too can google medical case histories. “by T Kochuparackal · 2012 · Cited by 3 · Related articles 26 Jan 2012 · Mr A, a 21-year-old man, was referred to our psychiatric outpatient service in 2010 with a first episode of schizophrenia (DSM-IV criteria). 05/11/2018 16:44 | getting, do you use face cream at all? | meanwhile
05/11/2018 16:25 | Norman, neighbours don’t have dogs. One has a budgie. | brexitplus |
