Does anyone know if a legal case is being considered by certain shareholders?

Is "negligence" the correct legal term? That does sound frightfully civilised!

David - The company will probably have D&O insurance which will mean a cash payout not birdseed. I have been involved in a class action against director negligence before.

Hatetrader - you're a tool and that's a compliment. You really have a nerve asking me for an apology lol.

You show me a ramp. How is saying I've bought because of director changes a ramp? It's a statement ogf fact.

A ramp is your minute by min post on Regen Therapeutics claiming they were going to sell their snake oil into India and make a fortune when they had virtually no sales and were having monthly placings to pay the board.

Have the last post as you always have to - in your little mind it makes you feel you've won. I'll leave it here as readers of this thread must have had enough of your little girl knicker -wetting hissy fits.

I have not looked at a legal case in any detail but one of the shareholders is very keen to explore this and I suggested a shareholder meeting is the best way forward.

The main issue with legal action is does the subject(s) of the legal action have the means to pay sufficient damages ? Do we know if directors etc have personal assets that haven't been / cant be squirrelled away ?

As an ex shareholder I might well make a contribution in proportion to my maximum or average shareholding or value of loss in return for a share of any damages in similar proportion.

Instead of fighting amongst yourselves how many of you shareholders and ex shareholders would be prepared to contribute to a fund to fully investigate the demise of the company and other events that have been discussed here ? I have been approached by two shareholders who would donate large amounts and asked if we could join together with the large shareholder in the Isle of Man that is taking legal action. Any thoughts on something that is constructive? They have requested a meeting in London for interested parties and one is overseas so it will need organising.

You're in a fantasy world, I told you, Walter Mitty.

You are to ADVFN what Tony Blair was to the Iraq Dossier.

A complete and utter liar - I'm amazed ADVFN haven't keep letting you back with new handles with all your lying bile.

You've proved what a sneak you are here Hatetrader, trying to lump me with ramping MUBL here when if there was anyone that pointied out what a sack it was was me.

I said above I've had a few go bad in my time but what you do is find a carp illiquid penny stock, bluster about some news that's out, pump the Rs out of it to all the mugs that are out there and then you dump it and disappear. Regen was a classic. You can't make money in decent stocks cos you rely on short term nutters following you like you do in everything you pump. Illiquid, in the pennies and some carp story and you're there, throw a bit of fuel on it then leave others to visit the burns unit. Most smart guys on ADVFN are wise to you now.

Go on CR dont hold back !

But of course all the stocks you have ramped that have gone bust is not your fault
and you have pushed plenty of penny stocks as well.

you are one of them Hatetrader, you are just more sneaky about it - Minor Planet - Regen Therapeutics - you suckered plenty in to those and left them holding shares in a bust co. Every share you pump is an illiquid penny drosspot that you can punp an dump.

Cheers Davidosh but hatetrader's comment doesn't bother me - in fact it highlights the guy's shallowness imo. Here sticking up for paranoid schizophrenics one minute then making crass comments like that the next.

I've held MUBL, I also held them as Air Music and Media. I've held no end of rubbish as a trade too. I've held stuff that I though was a genuine investment and discovered I was badly wrong.

My whole point here was that when you see alarm bells then react to them imo. There we so many - like Allan's excursion into the restaurant business, satellite businesses conmnected to Allan that were dealing with MUBL. There was the final divi that was paid after the interim results - I've never seen that. There was the excursion into Media Vault, there was the warehouse issue. It was a distribution co too - they always get squeezed between consumer and manufacturer when things get tough so it was always an accident waiting to happen imo. You can trade that in good times but you've got to know it's never going to be a great long term investment imo.

If I had been a holder in this co I'd have documented the whole lot and posted it off to the FSA and every newspaper going. When the shareholders just stay quiet and do nothing then you create a license to be walked over imo. Simon and Garfunkle's song 'The Sound of Silence' says it succinctly 'silence like a cancer grows'.

All these shananigans with other little co's cropping up, buying bird feed co's and the like would never have happened if the directors were tackled early on - there might have actually been some shareholder value left here. You can have a minority holding and still stop directors walking over you - there are rules about corporate behaviours that have to be adhered and I think they board should at least be answering to someone here.

I just hope the guys that bought tiny amounts of shares this week really were punting with money they can afford to throw away because that's what they have done imo.

What will happen if there's a rights issue here? If you're holding you either get diluted or throw more monmey at it. If you throw more money at it you just give the directors more of your money to fritter away. I just don't understand why anyone would be holding these shares while this bunch are in charge 4p a share is better than nothing imo.
