yep, I know they are only saying they will beat the forecast you had there and not these numbers I have. Wouldn't surprise me if REFs have got it wrong, they have been a disaster at times - I'd be amazed if they were 8 months out of date tho, there's even reference on REFs to the co's statement on Feb 15.

Will have to do some more digging I think.

Hi CR
The most recent forecasts i have are 1.5p for 07, 2.3p for 08 and 3.8p for 09. I think perhaps that the forecasts on REFS are out of date and issued before the Trading Statement 5th December. I think that MNS say they will outperform the 1.5p for this year rather than the 3.6p that you refer to. Either way with the Institiutions on board and director buying i would assume that they are fairly valued. The NHS market is huge with 606 Trusts and Manpower currently only have 11. Time will tell

By the way, REF's has that down as "normalised" EPS and profit before tax too so it's not including any specials or one offs that I'm not aware of.

Hi CR
Those forecasts seem a little high. Do you know when they were produced ?

that looks very cheap imo. Seeing they were confident enough to say at the interims they would meet full year numbers too.

If they have guided brokers to these numbers you can bet they have left a fair bit of leaway for themselves to hit the forecasts imo.

A single digit fwd PE on those forecasts, probably going to beat them too. A huge leap from a loss last year to 3.6p eps this year and a further 30% next year on a single digit PE - they'll be a lot of buyers of that valuation imo.

According to REFs there have been big upgrades.

Forecasts are now for 3.6p eps in 07 and 4.6p in 08. That's a massive leap from 1.5p in 07 and 2.3p in 08.

that's a bold buy on this sort of rise - a lot of large trades today too.

Results looked ok and some large blocks have changed hands today and yesterday. Perhaps a new major holder will emerge.

In fact here it is...

Six more NHS Trusts order MAPS Healthroster
During December (2006) six more NHS Trusts have ordered MAPS Healthroster.

Three More London Trusts sign up to MAPS Healthroster
Manpower Software is delighted to announce the signing of three London Trusts to the MAPS Healthroster system; The Hillingdon Hospital NHS Trust, The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust, and Ealing Hospital NHS Trust. Each made the decision to rollout MAPS Healthroster Trust wide after the results of Manpower Software's unique 'Roster Assessment' which helped them to build a business case to implement a rostering system.

Another North East Trust orders MAPS Healthroster
County Durham & Darlington Acute NHS Trust has ordered Manpower Software's MAPS Healthroster electronic rostering software for Trust-wide implementation across its nursing and midwifery staff. The trust hopes to make large financial savings, as well as improvements in the efficiency of their rosters; whilst providing fairer working conditions to the Trust's staff.

First Mental Health Trust to implement MAPS Healthroster
Manpower Software is proud to announce Sandwell Mental Health NHS and Social Care Trust as the first Mental Health Trust to implement MAPS Healthroster. The Sandwell team are looking forward to running a superior rostering system, as well as making extensive savings on bank and agency spend.

World Renowned Foundation Trust chooses MAPS Healthroster
Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust are a well respected and forward thinking group of hospitals, often at the forefront of best practice methodology. Manpower Software is pleased to announce the addition of Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust to its ever growing list of NHS customers.

Curious how companies adopt different policies towards announcing contract
wins. FSG and DTK let the market know about every little win. Best of luck with FSG. If it disappoints it will nosedive!

My error on the director sales and thanks for the info on the 'pulled' updates. Your theory sounds very plausible; if six trust sales aren't price sensitive then I can't imagine what might be for this company. There are plenty more trusts to go at. shame your patience didn't stretch to a couple more months. Two other holdings DTK and FSG are worth a peek.

We dont have a director selling...Mr Drummond resigned in October 2005.

P.S we do have Helium Special Situations buying....their fund is up 36% since launch in August 2006...they specialize in small growth stocks...so far they are doing rather well !!!!!

P.P.S Manpower is their 5th largest holding

Hi Louse
If possible i still follow the progress of Manpower via RNS and the website. I can assure you that the NHS announcement was put on the website on the morning of 6th Feb but by midday it had been removed. I would guess that 6 Contracts would constitute price sensitive information and therefore should be announced via RNS to the market so the company pulled it down pdq !!! I would guess that the Interim Results will contain more information...and again i would guess they are due before the end of February. Sorry to have todo so much guessing !!! For what its worth the website had 3 "normal" NHS wins, one with a "Mental" NHS Trust and one with a Teaching NHS Trust which i think was Cambridge and one other.....like i say, my memory is awful but i think that's what i saw. Time will tell.

regards

Rob Ward

Rob Can't see these contract wins on companies website where is this news?. The price started moving in the last two weeks of 06; it must be down to these contracts. Had me baffled esspecially with a director selling regularly.
