16/2/2004 15:36 | was looking at this but looking at the rns' it looks like the major holders are slowly selling their stock. | moneypm
16/2/2004 15:23 | Hi All I see that Strand have disposed of their stake, will be interesting to see who have picked it up ? Best Wishes | robward
13/2/2004 15:33 | Hi All Looks like I my have been mistaken and Gartmore may have been the sellers of the 1,575,000 today, its all a little confusing, however I,m sure all will become apparent in the next few days. Best Wishes Rob Ward | robward
10/2/2004 15:18 | I see we have a new Institutional shareholder !! Welcome Gartmore Growth | robward
10/2/2004 10:53 | I still say, that while I like the company, its customers and its products, it is very low on cash. This prevents me from buying at these prices. | rockbottomone
09/2/2004 22:38 | Hi Artful Yes I see your posts on FAR3 and notice that nobody responds !!! I accumulated my holding in December 2001 at 25p and watched them fall all the way down to 4p bid last March, however I have always believed in the product so have not sold any, happily I am now in profit and continue to hold for news of more contract wins. Best Wishes to you and thank you for making this thread a little more interesting that it otherwise would have been Rob | robward
09/2/2004 22:16 | rob there's very few of us BB'ers who hold mns -i've mentioned it on a few threas and got no response at all. Doesn't bother me at all, but it's funny how some stocks light the fires and others are met with silence. I'm holding from an average of 20p with a 2-3 year view resistance at 40p will take a while to break unless a mega-contract is announced. | artful dodger
09/2/2004 21:35 | Hi All I'm geting used to talking to myself now !!. I am surprised that we havnt had any RNS with regard to the large sales listed in my previous post, perhaps they were buys by a new institution and therfore havn't accumulated a stake over 3%. As readers (???) of this thread know I have a largeish holding in MNS and feel that if we can acheive a couple of largeish orders before the current year end then the .99p of earnings this year is easily achievable and then the market will look forward to the 1.8p of next year and the 2006 estimate which isn't published yet. Hense I am still holding for te longer term and hoping for a year end price target of 60-70p Good Luck to all new holders | robward
04/2/2004 18:52 | Evening All Well the last few days have certainly been interesting for holders of MNS. I am not quite sure why the have shot up quite so quickly, although I have mentioned possible comment in Financial Mags tomorrow. However I am sure we are in for some profit-taking tomorrow, the MM's have plenty of stock now, 500,000, 350,000 and 915,322 all sold at 32.5p. I will be interested to see who has sold this stock either Directors or Institutions. I am currently trying to obtain some new broker forecasts as these may explain the sudden rise, of course, somebody in the know may know that some more Contracts have been penciled in ??? Who knows, it makes life interesting anyway !! Good luck to all holders Best Wishes Rob Ward | robward
04/2/2004 13:48 | each to their own I'm a recovery player, and i look for 10 baggers recent chart scene is very encouraging on this one. i will hold until the situation changes. No point in trying to value tech companies imo -they are always either ridiculously over -or -under valued. The trick is to buy the latter and hold until the former! simple really........ i bought at 17p and 22p, in case you want to know! | artful dodger
04/2/2004 10:00 | bantam - ditto, know the feeling! rob - see you around. | widemouthfrog
04/2/2004 09:51 | Bantam I hope you realise I wasn't picking fun at you. As we both know its impossible to guage the correct exit price and if you sell for a profit then well done because a profit it is !!!! Rob Ward | robward
04/2/2004 09:44 | Yeah. LOL up another 2.75 since. Still a profit is a profit. If I'd always done done that I would have retired by now. best wishes Bant p.s. Keep an eye on CKSN and EVG | bantam175
04/2/2004 08:50 | Bantam Wel done on having a plan and sticking to it.....wish I was disciplined enough to do the same. Best Wishes Rob Ward | robward
04/2/2004 08:18 | Well I've jumped @ 31. Got my 20% and if you don't stick to your own rules you get nowhere in this game (as I have found before). May be back with any weakness, best of luck to all holders. Bant | bantam175
04/2/2004 08:17 | Well I've jumped @ 31. Got my 20% and if you don't stick to your own rules you get nowhere in this game (as I have found before). May be back with any weakness, best of luck to all holders. Bant | bantam175
03/2/2004 12:49 | Take a look at Cms Webview! (cwv)This share has been waiting to explode on news for 1 month, looks like we could get that news tonight! Be lucky | birdballs
03/2/2004 10:10 | Thanks robward, that was fairly put. I think Manpower could possibly florish, but its cash position now gives cause for significant concern. I would expect a major rights issue in the coming months. | rockbottomone
03/2/2004 09:56 | Rockbottomone Although your comments are factual and correct, some folks obviously disagree as a few large buys have just gone through. I wonder what is in the pipeline ? The joy of investing is having ones own opinion and putting ones cash where ones mouth is !!!! In the end it all comes out in the wash. Best Wishes | robward
03/2/2004 09:12 | Hi Bantam Not sure if any news is due but the mm's are desperately short of stock and I would guess that MNS will get a mention in both Shares mag and also Investors Chronicle. I am in for the long term so short term flucuations dont overly concern me but in the short term any price over 30p would be a good sell point, based on current forecasts (1p y/e 04 and 1.8p y/e 05) Best Wishes | robward
03/2/2004 09:12 | Think that it is, how can I say politely, more than fairly valued now. I appreciate the quality of their customers, and the POTENTIAL growth, but a turnover under contract of £3.1m next year isn't exactly staggering, neither is a £0.25m profit. Cash in hand has almost halved in 6 months, now £1.1m from £2m EPS also halved 0.58p vs 1.18p in the 6 months. Cashflow was negative (£0.85m) To me, it looks like they are running out of cash, and quickly. If that rate continued they would have to seek further cash by June 04. The sale of short term deposits, to the tune of £1m, reinforces this view. | rockbottomone
03/2/2004 09:04 | There is news in the offing. Can feel it in my bones. Tempted to sell @ 30.9 this a.m. but hanging on with fingers crossed. Could be more luck than judgement with this one, have to wait and see. imho, dyor etc Bant | bantam175
30/1/2004 08:58 | Got into these on results. On a profit but holding for now. Looks like a good short to medium gainer to me. Maybe 30p without more news, more with. All imho, dyor etc Bant | bantam175
28/1/2004 13:48 | 27.5 = midrange support for 25-30. if it holds above 27.5 more chance of it attempting 30 and less chance of it dropping back towards 25. mns trading ranges are long and tight. don't believe the results were good enough to send it sailing to 40. but news of more good contracts might. all in my idiot opinion. | widemouthfrog
28/1/2004 13:43 | I am anticapiting 50p in next few months when the NHS contracts are announced | kitdh |
