Hi Sven - well I have bought & if Allan Swan wants 400k at a smidge below this price, then who are we to disagree, after all he isnt buying for just a few pence per share profit.

Hi CR
Didnt think it would be long before you arrived...you must watch ADVFN 24-7 !!!

Just to clarify...Allen Swann has been working for MNS since Richard Morgan-Evans suffered a serious injury back in the beginning of 2006. Here is the snippet posted from the Interim Report to 30th November 2005, published 28th Feb 2006......

A short while ago our Managing Director, Richard Morgan-Evans, sustained a
serious injury. I am pleased to say he is making a good recovery but at this
stage it is too early to say exactly when he will return to work.

During Richard's absence, the Directors have assumed some additional
responsibilities and, as an interim measure, have appointed Allen Swann,
recently retired President of Chordiant Inc. and a former director of Oracle UK,
to assist in the sales process.

I sincerely hope they dont take a dual listing in the U.S as that affects Aim Taper Tax Relief.

I agree that it is significant that he has acquired a holding at this price especially when he could have acquired at substantially lower prices.

Regards

Rob

P.s yep i'm pretty much 24-7 too !!!!!

Are these going to float in the US?

If they are then I reckon these one bag from here at least.

That's a huge buy, 400K - increased his holding by 200%. There's more going on than meets the eye imo.

Yep, FD and Senior advisor buying shedloads at this level :-)

Looks like this is the same Allen Swann:

"Rick and Allen are respected executives who ramped up their companies to become major league players and have a lot of operational experience to share on the Board"

I have just bought in, been following & dithering, but now a "Senior Advisor" has bouhgt a shedload, then I think I should follow.

As we are talking software companies another one that looks likely to take off is CORO

Is it me or are the size of trades getting larger?

50K buy @ 62p just gone through - and a few good size trades today too like 50K and 45Ks - usually see 5K and 10Ks as the norm or smaller.

Yes, and FSG is another one like this that the punters are currently missing and where directors are buying. Similarities too in that for a small software co they are getting huge contracts from BT, HSBC, Barclays and other.

I think the software sector is set to light up myself. We seem at the stage where compaies are looking top get productivity improvements from software rather than trying to employ in a tight labour market. A number of small undervalued software/technology companies trading on PE's of 10 or so is just too cheap for many imo. Added another 20K FSG last week - there will be up beat news with the results imo.

Hi CR
I know we both hold FSG......interesting you mention ALN....I picked a few up last week...I like the business, they have just broken into new highs, excellent business model, high growth rates and low pegs....they have a pre-close update on the 11th so not long to see if my judgement is good or poor !!

Alterian is one I bought at 37p, sold @ 60p and now see it @ 155p. Although data analysis rather than human resource management I see similarites here.

I also reckon with over £4m turnover in H1 there's scope to beat £8m sales this year Robward.

OK
I'm sat at work bored...time to play with some figures. MNS have high operational gearing and therefore a small increase can have a disproportionate effect on profit. For y/e 2007 i would expect 8m t/o with 7m costs to give 1m profit or 2.2p a share. For y/e 2008 a 20% increase in turnover to 9.6m with say 10% increase in costs to 7.7m would give 1.9m profit or 4.2p a share. For y/e 2009 a 20% increase in t/o to 11.5m with 10% increase in costs to 8.5m would give 3m profit or 6.6p a share. The Healthroster solution usually sells for approx £400,000 - £500,000 so adding only 6 Trusts a year would do the trick. With the directors acquiring stock at 54p i am confident the future is rosy. Of course we havnt even touched the U.S Healthcare Market. I'm no expert on software but i understand that customers pay yearly maintainance and support fees so their is a reccuring revenue stream as well. I think after the 2007 results the market may begin to appreciate the massive potential of this business and rate them accordingly..perhaps a forward p/e of say 20 which for 2008 would give a price target of 84p. Anyway...i'm just rambling to myself as i have nothing better todo !!

Liarspoke - they are old forecasts not upgrades - look at the date - Dec 05.

Shore Capital hadn't upgraded when I spoke to them 2 days ago either.

Yes, I came across these in Jan whilst trawling through REFS, and even put them into my feb stockchallenge at 30p, but for some reason didn't buy any. You can't win em all I suppose.

Did the same again this month with MCM, was going to buy a few weeks ago at under a quid and didn't, and they're now 140+.

The problem is that the accuracy of the info contained in REFS is going from bad to worse.
