05/3/2013 11:12 | s34icknote your last post frightened me until I realised that you had added an extra zero 62,912 shares were sold NOT 620,000 | investoree
05/3/2013 10:21 | Looks like the 620000 sell below 25 p has called this lower. Short term traders moving on | s34icknote
05/3/2013 10:03 | very suprised by the reaction to the numbers, which were in line ,as well making further steps towards the balance sheet ,and the pension issue..i suppose they now need to increase sales,in the areas where they see growth and margins.. | limit up
05/3/2013 09:30 | This appointment completes the re-shaping of the Board of Macfarlane. Bob was Chief Executive of DS Smith Packaging UK until 2011, latterly as Deputy CEO Packaging (UK and Continental Europe). He has spent many years working in the packaging sector, and is also currently Chairman of the Logson Group and a non-executive director of Swanline Print Limited. This new appointment strenghtens the Board , impressive move. | hvs
05/3/2013 09:20 | Topped up as well , cheap on any basis. If they can keep the ship steady for a couple more years then we will have company transformation. | hvs
05/3/2013 09:05 | Couldn't resist small top-up. Forward yld of around 6% clinched it.... | penpont
05/3/2013 08:37 | £5.2m was forecasted for 2013. This year was £4.7m, eps of 3.0p and EBITDA of £7.0m. We got £4.9m, 3.2p and £7.1m. Debt and pension deficit both fell modestly. Numbers seem healthy enough to me. It looks good value on earnings and cheap on cashflows. | aleman
05/3/2013 08:15 | From previous posts analysts were looking for £5.2m in profits, so the results although solid are slightly under expectations and I think that is the reason for the drop today. | daz
05/3/2013 07:59 | Results seem pretty good. Profit amd earnings suggests shares are reasonable value. However, debt and pension deficit both improved slightly thanks to further improvement in cash generation which now seems strong enough to make the shares still look a bit on the cheap side. I'd guess the shares should hold around the current level and maybe even creep back over 30p. Might be worth topping up if they fell any. | aleman
03/3/2013 07:20 | Some selling | s34icknote
27/2/2013 20:14 | Just looked at that trade at 28.75p. Looks genuine, delayed reporting from breakfast time today and was indeed struck outwith the price (28-28.5p at the time). | coolen

22/2/2013 09:56 | bernie37. bought the stock 6 months ago 200,000 ,like what they are trying to do ie increase sales, cut out low margin production, and to streamline the co,i think it is very much a bet on the uk economy,as only a little exported to the us.i have to say they were a little more upbeat on the last figs, and directors have bought stock since.. regds | limit up

Article MIDAS EXTRA SHARE TIPS: Packaging firm on festive high from online shopping boom By JOANNE HART All By This Author - 05/12/2012 16:37:57 As increasing numbers of people shop by clicking a mouse rather than pounding the High Street, this packaging firm looks likely to hold on to that festive feeling for a good while longer. | bernie37
20/2/2013 20:37 | Anyone worried that the latest update from Coral Products (CRU) was somewhat depressing for the sector ? | coolen
20/2/2013 20:21 | I'm still here.Waiting patiently for the results. Margins, pension deficit and an increase in the dividend however small is what i'm looking for. At the the last IMS this seemed a very bullish interview. | shauney2
