21/3/2021 18:59 | FY results due 23/03/2021 - the numbers should make pleasant reading given the prevailing CPO price in H2. Interested to hear more about the impact of the revised Indonesian export levy and expectations for the coming year. CPO price remains strong. | oli12
19/2/2021 16:07 | MPE’s has a very young crop, volumes and sales should be on an upwards trajectory over the next few years as the crop matures / yield increases. Estates become more profitable and cash generative as they reach maturity. I don’t believe the share price reflects what we have. Let’s see, the recent changes to the Indonesian CPO levy don’t help either. | oli12
19/2/2021 08:53 | Probably depressed because a) £/$ rate has moved against us b) they are not doing any extension planting when the only way to get eps growth when all the commodity price upside has been expropriated is to increase volume. It's 101 stuff to exploit non productive land and to use up any spare mill capacity. | nobull
18/2/2021 18:25 | CPO price remains above $1000. share price somewhat depressed. Hopefully KLK don’t come knocking. | oli12
07/1/2021 15:27 | Nice FY 2020 numbers released this morning. CPO price remains over $1000. | oli12
31/12/2020 06:46 | Thanks outlawinvestor for providing the background. Indeed the impact for FY20 will be very limited - however the longer term will mean the higher the CPO price the more tax is paid. That said, MPE will start to see significant increases in production in the coming years following many years of significant investment, I suggest you read the recent presentation that is available on the MPE website. It’s just a shame that MPE won’t fully benefit from the large CPO price increases seen in the last 6 months. | oli12
30/12/2020 20:00 | Oli12 is referring to the 7-Dec RNS re Indonesian CPO export levies and duties. MPE say the impact for FY20 will be "very limited". I found REA's (RE.) update (the same issue, the same date) more enlightening. | outlawinvestor
30/12/2020 19:38 | oli 12 Not Great news today, Sorry what do you mean. I was beginning to look at buying some shares but after reading your post wanted to learn more, is it possible to elaborate a bit please Thx | bubloo
30/12/2020 11:36 | CPO price $1010, multi year highs although the revised CPO tax introduced in Indonesia will artificially lower the local price from 21’. | oli12
07/12/2020 19:10 | Not great news today, seems to put the breaks on the CPO price profitability. | oli12
05/12/2020 13:45 | Well worth a read / view of the presentation that took place earlier this week ( see group website). MPE is on the verge of a “substantial increase in production”. The dividends should reflect this in the coming years - hopefully KLK don’t pounce before. SP not reflective of the growth potential here. | oli12
03/12/2020 17:41 | CPO price is still $900 plus. | oli12
02/12/2020 14:57 | Covered in Investor's Champion's latest update. finnCap considers that MPE should be considered a ‘World Class’ operation based on operational KPIs and sustainability. They remain committed to a 1,000p/share price target, approx. 60% above of the current price. Following several years of significant investment, MPE could be on the cusp of a delivering some decent financial returns. | energeticbacker
01/12/2020 10:38 | Very comprehensive investor presentation today. Excellent prospects for future profits and dividends. The company is making a really good effort on sustainable production. Bt a few more. | nocton
30/11/2020 18:10 | Decent volume for MPE in the last few trading sessions - should re rate to back over 700p soon enough. CPO remains strong. | oli12
30/11/2020 14:50 | I'm very hopeful | forensic
28/11/2020 11:00 | well this thread is so bare...no bad thing really CPO now $900 after $920 and at the 6 year highs......analyst forecasts will be based on $600-650 for 2020 (average attained will be maybe 700?) and $700 assumed for 2021 so 2021 numbers way too low....fundamentally then very attractive on earnings whilst on the key valuation metric of EV/planted hectare, this is really reinforced. there is still the standard life technical situation..but these things work through the system eventually (with or without KLK) and the CMD on Tuesday will hopefully clear it.....we will see £10 here within 2 years i feel. | kirkthrust
14/11/2020 07:17 | hxxps://m.investing. CPO futures closed at just over $900 13.11.2020. AEP is well placed to benefit - from memory it’s free float is low - majority of its shares are owned by a board member. | oli12
13/11/2020 06:09 | CPO price now around $865 vs H1 average of $541 for MPE. | oli12
10/11/2020 19:42 | CPO at an 8 year high. Around $830. | oli12
06/11/2020 05:39 | CPO price is currently $805, average price achieved by MPE in H1 was $541. H2 numbers should benefit from this increase. | oli12
04/11/2020 16:51 | They have probably got a nice option now to take their holding to 29.99% with Standard life selling down. It will be interesting to see when they acquire the next batch from them and at what price | ntv
04/11/2020 16:43 | KLK were the buyer - up to 22.18% now - will they go hostile again - possibly for less than their offer from several years ago? Time will tell. | oli12
04/11/2020 16:19 | Looks like a highly paid financial "expert" at Standard Life selling on the cheap. They should be buying, not selling at this price given the strength of the palm oil price. But they will still get their year end bonus for sure. | forensic |
