15/4/2024 12:19:02 | Fear is the key
Scared to buy equally Scared to sell and forego an attractive dividend
I expected the market to tank this morning and little bit disappointed it hasn't
FOMO has a lot to answer for.

15/4/2024 09:56:42 | Bit too soon for me, I think there's a couple more pence left in it!I may be wrong, but at least the markets have taken the weekend in their stride, could have gone south, badly. | rongetsrich
15/4/2024 09:54:38 | Institutional investments will come shortly to short this to 100p;))) | baldrick1
15/4/2024 09:39:13 | M&G plc today announces the appointment of Elisabeth Stheeman as an independent Non-Executive Director with effect from 1 August 2024. She will become a member of the Audit and Risk Committees on the same date.spud | spud
15/4/2024 09:16:02 | Yes there are longs longs too:) | baldrick1
15/4/2024 09:15:01 | I'm very surprised the market is holding so well this morning but I've already sold half of my LGEN shares and I'm confident I'll be able to buy them back cheaper possibly even this afternoon when the US opens up | paulboz
15/4/2024 09:12:50 | 228p on the longs list though :-) | richie1218
15/4/2024 08:44:24 | 180p still in the shorts list:) | baldrick1
15/4/2024 07:55:36 | M&G Interactive Investor This FTSE 100 savings and investment giant’s unusually high 9.5% dividend yield could be a sign that “something is profoundly wrong”. M&G has been getting little love from the market, with the shares trading on a forward price/earnings (p/e) ratio of eight, compared with 11 for peer Aviva. Yet annual accounts suggest it has “a decent cash chest” to support the payout. Provided “management has its act together”, there are also “good odds of dividend growth”. The shares thus offer an attractive income with a chance of capital gains should the price correct to something more sensible. 207p | masurenguy
14/4/2024 11:11:02 | Yes 180-190p a good top up price range. Will see where this is after divi payment comes in. For sure expect a drop tomorrow GLA | tornado12
14/4/2024 06:54:08 | The fall in the US on Friday, coupled with the news from the Middle East pretty much guarantees a southbound share price. These may well be 190 very soon. Time to divert other dividends methinks. | rongetsrich
13/4/2024 18:35:41 | Like many others around you. | klotzak
13/4/2024 18:20:37 | Nearly 10% yield, double what I'm earning in cash interest. | smurfy2001
13/4/2024 15:49:54 | Exactly my plan with LGEN.That constipated fella from yesterday will probs have a pop, but at least there's now 2 of us that have seen this present pattern. Good luck! | rongetsrich
13/4/2024 14:54:22 | Thanks. I own MNG, Aviva and Phoenix so I have seen this happen over the past couple of days. LGEN goes ex div on 25th so I'll probably sell half of my shares there before then.Cheers | paulboz
13/4/2024 13:29:20 | What Skinny has posted. I started chatting about it when the interim was released, you could also read stuff on the AV. and LGEN boards about 12 months ago. There is evidence that it works, it's not shorting - it's small RIs making a few £ before the XD date. Of late, with MNG and now AV. it's proven to be a good source of income (read the same amount as the divi) but paid early. It's better wrapped, which you do, and right now you would have cash, rather than a deflated share price. | rongetsrich
13/4/2024 12:48:42 | Thanks, Skinny. That thread is the one I found but it seems to concentrate solely on MNG rather than high yielding shares in general. | paulboz
13/4/2024 11:28:50 | Do you have a link to that LSE chat please? I can see the LSE chat about MNG but that just repeats what I see here. Thanks | paulboz
13/4/2024 09:42:31 | For those interested, LSE have posters talking about that different way to make money from high yielding shares. Live and let live, money (to most) is money. | rongetsrich
12/4/2024 19:13:56 | I hope we both make it. In the mean time, get over yourself and enjoy! | rongetsrich
12/4/2024 19:08:44 | sadly. shabbat calls i will continue my evisceration of you on monday | adejuk
12/4/2024 19:06:58 | 4770 proved to most you should learn to behave. Sociopath, fiend, bounder or cad. I respect . Now I never started this, but I do not care how many books you write or how much you earn, move on, and we’ll get along just fine. | rongetsrich
