Hi 2breakout, I've only posted the section which is available to non subscribers.

You are correct in stating that i have no position here atm, there have been alot of stocks moving faster this year which I needed the cash to invest in.

I'll just say its on my watchlist but slightly uncomfortable with the small market cap but it is a very interesting little company.

Rgds, bbd

LPA Group December 2013
We've had a quick catchup with chief executive Peter Pollock. This follows the £36bn plan to develop the UK's railway infrastructure over five years, which has been announced by Network Rail and will include 4,100 new railway carriages and upgrades for a further 1,400 carriages. Stemming from ...

This was out a couple of weeks ago, could be good for LPA as they have already won contracts from Hitachi.

The latest broker note shows a target of 105.

The EPS figure I quoted was after the 1.1 million post tax exc credit.

I think a dip to 600k this year but growing to 1.5/1.8 million within two years.

A Strong balance sheet.
I like it.

For the record I'm also out on the last spike over 70p at just about break even.
CT may be correct in his assumptions for the share price over the forthcoming years and best of luck to him (clearly more patience than me), but I can find better homes for my cash at present.
Will keep a watchful eye.

Year end 2011 =x11 P/E

yEAR END 2012 = X14 P/E

So x12 2013 seems fair value

However, concern that the ''challenging'' 2nd Half 2013 = ''challenging'' 1st half 2014

The latest figure in the market says 1.7 million profit.

Over 10p eps.

Of course as the year ended sept that's clearly not possible from trading but must include an excp gain.

I will be happy with 5p from on going. At 58p that's 12x historic.

Looks a great deal of upside for very little downside.

I bought again yesterday and will keep sweeping them up.

Tiger,

Where did you 10 pence EPS from? That is completely unrealistic.

Half-year EPS was 1.49 pence. Michael Rusch went on to say:-

In my statement at the Annual General Meeting I advised that we expected a result for the first half which, while satisfactory, would fall short of last year, but provide a good base for achievement of expectations for the year as a whole. This has proved to be the case, but unlike last year when there was a confluence of positive effects in the second half, this year is proving very much more challenging.

I think they'll be lucky to do 5 pence.

Investing in LPA comes down to what you believe they can do in 2014 with the LED business IMO. If I was smarter, I would have bought after the year end results. I don't think they will be spectacular, but this year was always laying the foundations for 2014. We'll see in a couple of months.
