29/5/2013 08:17 | Nw99, not at the price they are offering. Better to return cash to shareholders in dividends. If cornhill cap have over 20% already then I doubt this deal is going to go ahead valuing lhd's at 4.9. I suspect pmg will have to seriously raise their offer. | utrecht_00
29/5/2013 08:15 | No in 6 months time lhd will have more money than cap why do you want that loo paper. Anyway busy day ........ | falklands

29/5/2013 07:02 | GUYS Good Luck but i feel you are flogging a dead horse here, heard it seen it all before with DEO who was trading in the high 50p range at one stage, they had a lot more oil in reserves than Lochard do, so what chance has LHD of being successful? very slim chance but no harm in trying i suppose, now i am really interested to see how this unfolds. I suspect Mr Gardner is behind this to protect his investment here, i will be surprised to see he will get the support he needs this time around, it has been mentioned they want to be part of PMG but want a higher price, lol this is Tom Cross we are talking about, he has many friends in the right places. Ask yourself why he would announce this with only 40%of the shareholders on board, he must have others lined up ready to throw the towel in here. | therealdeal5

28/5/2013 18:45 | One last thing, have people been watching the revolution by shareholders mentioned on Bloomberg and OnlineWSJ ? Sorry I don't have links, but the reporter at Bloomberg is Gourav Panchal, and at WSJOnline it is Ian Packham. Should be able to google it soon. Here's the gist: Cornhills are leading the revolution: "The consortium, which represents about 20.37% of Lochard's shares, is rejecting the offer of 0.385 Parkmead shares for every Lochard share, as it 'materially undervalues the company,' according to an emailed statement from its advisor, Cornhill Capital." If anyone is registered on III the reports are there. I'm rather expecting to be well in profit, after all. ;-) | wbodger |
