19/3/2013 18:27 | This is just relentless. Thankfully have let it run but finding it hard to undderstand what's going on. Clear the stock is in short supply and went from 350 to 380 off no news quickly in the past so has been a feature but hard to think is either feeding off it's own hype or there's a bidder in the background. Is it illegal to built up loads of small stakes under different companies? | alphabeta4
19/3/2013 16:53 | Jonc was my initial introducer to LO-Q. I believe he had 300k but sold all at circa £2 in order to finance his vending business. I really hope his company has done well as if he had retained his stock, it would be worth nearly £2m. Let your profits run.. spud | spud
19/3/2013 16:51 | Is that Hangman chap still talking these down? Got to be the worst call I've ever seen! 10,000% higher than when he first appeared!! | bozzy_s
19/3/2013 16:38 | If Disney spent somewhere in the region of 1 Billion developing similar tech then maybe Lo -Q might be 10 times undervalued plus a bit for patent protection. TB has told us in no uncertain language that we have an important deal or two relating to Asia. These contracts must be close to signing. | helpaargh
19/3/2013 16:31 | Thanks Spud, as you say it does put some rationale behind the rise. LOQ is certainly an attractive company to invest in. Tom et al have done a great job and like others I have to thank glenn borthwick for introducing me to this share | glyn10
19/3/2013 16:21 | With a strong dollar and a great team behind LOQ it would not take much $$$ for a hungry US leisure supply chain builder to try to gobble us up. They can try but it would need a very fair price !! Personally I do not see Disney involved and very happy with being Number 1 in a market that Disney are now endorsing. | davidosh
19/3/2013 15:48 | Glyn - I simply don't know to be honest. Take a look at my post 9777 - that puts some rationale behind the current rise. I'm kinda tempted to say that Disney might just take us in house, or possibly a large tech company looking to broaden its portfolio. There is an awful lot of money sloshing around in some of those big American names. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. I'd be mortified to see this go for less than £10 tbh as I believe under the tutelage of Tom, we've a great chance of becoming a massive company worth many times the current price. spud | spud
19/3/2013 15:25 | congrats to LOQ holders.....it just keeps going up...and up ! (I'm still hoping that MOS will overtake LOQ, but looking difficult the way LOQ has been going) | markt
19/3/2013 13:53 | Buying coming in at 635p now. I wonder whether the likes of Merlin are interested in LOQ given they now have extensive experience with LOQ's old and new technologies and can see the possibilities. Or is it unlikely that one theme park operator would/could buy LOQ given that the other LOQ clients might object to having a competitor owning one of their major suppliers with insider knowledge of their parks, margins etc? I tend to believe that this is simply a case of the City coming late to the party (as is often the case) and finding that we've got there before them :o)) | rivaldo
19/3/2013 12:57 | Can see this either getting taken out, for perhaps around £10 in the not too distant future, or, a share split and move to the main market to attract a wider investor base. Surely the days of LOQ being an AIM stock are getting long in the tooth now. All IMHO of course. | itchycrack
19/3/2013 12:11 | How would it happen without public declaration of stake somewhere along the way? | m.t.glass
19/3/2013 12:05 | Spud, I think you mentioned previously about a possible take over by stealth, do you think that is still possible/happening? | glyn10
19/3/2013 10:33 | Unstoppable. I keep waiting for a drop that never comes (to buy in again). Well done holders | robotface
19/3/2013 09:00 | ....or perhaps more buying :o)) Buying coming in at 615p now. | rivaldo
18/3/2013 16:08 | End of tax year approaches, will be some selling to crystallise gains. | igbertsponk
18/3/2013 16:03 | Some hold spreadbets rather than real stock - and if they happen to be the kind of spreadbetter who maintains too small a cash balance, will find themselves forced to close positions on days like these. If the bookie has to offload real stock held in support of those positions, those disposals will presumably account for some of the selling. | m.t.glass
18/3/2013 15:49 | Indeed. I still struggle to understand the mentality of selling whilst a large accumulation is so evident. If you want to offload a sizeable chunk (10k+) then I get it. Otherwise why sell piddly volumes when they are being so eagerly snapped up? I can guarantee that in a couple of years time we'll see the 'I wish i hadn't sold at .....P' post. In order to make a sizeable life-changing profit, you need to run your winners not sell them on the cheap! Hey ho. spud | spud
18/3/2013 14:07 | Very nice intra-day upturn today, especially with the markets as they are. And on almost 200,000 shares traded too. | rivaldo
18/3/2013 08:51 | applicable to this stock: "The Government is set to allow Aim listed shares to be held within an Isa.. ... The plans, which were suggested in last year's Autumn Statement, are designed to encourage more investment in growing companies and create an "important capital injection" for small to medium-sized enterprise equity markets... ...The new rules, expected to be introduced in the Autumn, will allow investors to invest their full Isa allowance, currently £11,280. into Aim shares..." | m.t.glass
15/3/2013 15:21 | What a great company, with a great future | glyn10
15/3/2013 12:04 | Just a bit!! : Bid 595.5p (Max = 11000) Offer 605p (Max = 100) She'll pop over £6 any minute. spud | spud
15/3/2013 12:04 | Yep, 605p just paid... | rivaldo
15/3/2013 10:48 | Straining at the leash I think. They are not having mine. Pip. | pip_uk
15/3/2013 10:22 | Looks like another up day judging by the stock that's (not) available.spud | spud |
