18/2/2013 11:32 | David,One question for Tom - "why do they keep messing around with their year-end"? Having settled on 31 October for 2009, 2010 and 2011, they have now moved to the rather odd date of 4 November for 2012. Why? When does their 2013 year end? Thanks. | effortless cool
18/2/2013 10:42 | Thanks David. I will look up your email address and do so this afternoon. I have to go out just now. | nightspot
18/2/2013 10:21 | Nightspot....you are very welcome. Do you know where to come? there was a link for further info earlier in the thread. Do email me your details if you can. We have an exceptionally high turnout tonight especially considering the half term clash so just keeping the restaurant aware of numbers. www.freesharedata.co | davidosh
18/2/2013 10:00 | Question I'd ask is "Your revenue model is essentially one linked to additional turnover your tech generates. Do you find that this stops you doing deals with companies such as Disney who do not want to share their revenues ? Is this an area where you instead are opting to licence your tech instead ?" Doubt they'll answer, but major concern for me as so many tech companies have failed due to big companies not wanting to play ball on this issue. | igbertsponk
18/2/2013 09:50 | Davidosh, is it too late for me to come to the event? | nightspot
18/2/2013 09:48 | davidosh - Just a general question really; what other types of queues could Lo-Q be eliminating in the medium term? Cheers. | goodapple
18/2/2013 09:43 | We will be having quite an extensive Q&A session with Tom Burnet tonight at the Mello event so if any of you have any questions that you would like me to ask then do please put them here on the board by 5.30 tonight. One of our guys will be doing a write up afterwards but not sure where it will be posted yet. There will be a link when I know which site. | davidosh
15/2/2013 15:43 | SIR ARCHIBALD LEONARDO HAS MADE 2K ON DIS TODAY!!!! VERY PLEASED INDEEDY. | sir leonardo
15/2/2013 15:35 | Chairman has made £8k just today on his purchase. Well done ! | igbertsponk
15/2/2013 09:26 | Agree Davidosh; I had a small holding before results and bought a few more today on the basis of the results and especially the size of the director buy showing the strenght of his confidence in the future. Thanks for bringing this one to my attention! | janeann
15/2/2013 09:18 | That is a massive vote of confidence in the future from the chairman and the amount is significant as it is a multiple of his minimal post tax pay received from the company. He really should have bought in December when Matt Cooper the new non exec bought shares as they would already have been up by £1 per share. As I say, his significant purchase now and at a much higher price is a very good indicator of confidence in the future. | davidosh
15/2/2013 02:27 | i always like it when a director (exec or NED) has more shares than me in a company. He has taken his time, and he had paid quite a bit more than me, which gives me a warm glow for going forward. | fft
14/2/2013 17:54 | Indeed, will be close to a fiver tomorrow if the Press pick that up. | igbertsponk
14/2/2013 17:53 | No wonder LOQ shares were up today !!!!!!!! | shanklin
14/2/2013 16:30 | I'd be surprised if they hadn't. No price movement on large sells is always a good sign. I would also hazard a guess that Tom is doing his regular presentations to the Institutions which one could assume are going pretty well.. ;-) spud | spud
14/2/2013 16:22 | Nice. I wonder if those large trades this morning cleared out a seller? | rivaldo
14/2/2013 16:01 | Indeed Itchy. I'm unable to access the online portal which is normally a sign of imminent activity. Also Robbie Burns comment today could have influenced things: 'LOQ's results were excellent yesterday, expected it to dive on profit taking but that did not happen, and it also announced another contract. Now four timed my money on this one and a five timer seems inevitable!' spud | spud
14/2/2013 13:39 | Looks like some shares have been freed up to satisfy demand, onwards and upwards. 500p could be here before the end of the month. At this rate I might have to revise my year end target of 600p :-) :-) | itchycrack
13/2/2013 12:32 | Excellent posts davidosh. If TB gets even close to building "the largest technology supplier to the leisure and entertainment business" we will be in clover. From UK-Analyst last night FYI - a decent summer in the UK and/or the USA, unlike last year, along with the maturing of all the park wins in the last couple of years, would probably produce an almighty leap in profitability: "Canaccord Genuity maintained its "buy" stance on Lo-Q (LOQ), a company which focuses on reducing queue times at attraction parks for visitors, increasing its target price by 14% to 500p. Canaccord is of the opinion that the 14 new sites the company began operating in during 2012 will result in strong profit growth during 2013 as they did not have the time to materially contribute towards profits in the last period. In addition, the broker is positive that the group's original sites will generate significantly higher profits over the next period based on adverse weather conditions experienced last year." | rivaldo
13/2/2013 11:34 | goodapple.....you must have been talking to TB lol He would love to get into travel/transport systems as he travels the world so much and knows all about trains and planes. Here is a recorded telephone interview with TB and JA... | davidosh
13/2/2013 11:14 | As I stand in the lengthy queues to buy train tickets from a machine into which I place my credit card to receive a paper ticket, I can't help thinking that 4G/Lo-Q/Accesso must be able to revolutionise this in the future. | goodapple |
