27/3/2013 09:20 | Just short terms cashing out, nothing to worry about. It did something similar from around 400p back to 300p before the next big leg up. | itchycrack
27/3/2013 09:17 | Volumes are tiny (unless there are larger trades to be reported), so I suspect it's just a bit of tax year-end profit-taking as per post 10155. Combine this with the City winding down for Easter, so the usual buyers perhaps not being around, and the effect is perhaps unsurprising. | rivaldo
27/3/2013 09:12 | To prove that it goes down as fast (if not faster) than it goes up! Got a little too heated imo & lack of anticipated new contracts (my view only) hasn't helped. spud | spud
27/3/2013 09:12 | leak before agm and possible update next Tuesday ? volume appears to be small, but would expect more trades to be reported later. | fft
27/3/2013 09:12 | Just speaking for myself, top-sliced a %age of my holding first thing - end of tax yr management. | patersdw
27/3/2013 09:10 | interesting selling this morning. anyone know whats driving it | horndean eagle
27/3/2013 07:36 | Thanks Davidosh & FFT, appreciate the guidance. | alphabeta4
27/3/2013 05:52 | davidosh, Do the board issue us with Q-bots so that we can ask questions on a first come first served basis. LOL. | oilyrag
27/3/2013 01:00 | alphabet4, you can apply for a letter to attend the AGM on the brokerline website. fill in the details and it will appear in your letterbox. nearly all company actions can also be done via the website. it is one of the best features. probably a bit late for the loq agm, best to allow a few weeks. | fft
26/3/2013 23:29 | Oops :o)) I wondered why it had been so quiet....next Tuesday it is then. | rivaldo
26/3/2013 22:24 | Alphabeta4....Yes you most certainly can but may need a letter of representation from your nominee company to state that you are attending to represent that holding and voting that number of shares. In most cases companies will allow you to attend as a guest and simply not vote if you do not have one and in most cases I attend Agms to meet the management and ask questions so voting is generally immaterial to me unless a major issue to be voted on. If you ring a company secretary in advance and let them know you are attending they will usually tell you their Agm policy and to be fair most companies do not get enough interest from shareholders at Agms. We had a meeting with a company this morning that has 600 shareholders with mainly private investors and had only two at their last Agm. They will have a multiple of that number this year because a large group of us are now getting involved and want to meet the directors but generally they simply do not get that involved. Good luck The LOQ Agm is a very friendly affair and it is unlikely that you will have a problem. They have some very high quality non execs which you can only usually get to meet at an Agm so very well worth attending IMO. | davidosh
26/3/2013 22:01 | Sorry, can I ask a dunce question? If my shares are in a nominee account can I attend an AGM? Whilst I can't do this one would be nice to know for future. Basically a Natwest brokerline account. | alphabeta4
26/3/2013 18:41 | LOL....They told us Disney were going to make a bid at £15 per share but then Six Flags caught wind of it and offered £20. Then Dolly Parton jumped into the ring and knocked em both out with.... then I woke up ! The good news for you all is that the Agm is next Tuesday. It is April 1st before then so stay alert ! | davidosh
26/3/2013 18:14 | I couldn't make it to the AGM unfortunately (surprised there's been no RNS even re just passing the resolutions?). Davidosh et al, any impressions or news would be much appreciated! | rivaldo
25/3/2013 20:02 | Yes let's not mention mubl | ghostofahangman
25/3/2013 14:00 | If indeed a NASDAQ listing is in the pipeline then given a 1 to 2 year view I can easily see the price doubling again, even from these levels. It could be that, despite the meteoric rise seen so far, this really could only be just the beginning. All IMHO of course, DYOR etc, but happy to hold and continue to do so. | itchycrack
25/3/2013 13:54 | Must be some good life-changing stories here. My holding isn't life-changing for me, but my initial holding/largest purchase is now more than a ten-bagger, and I intend to continue holding as the story plays out. New institutional investors are still only just becoming aware of LOQ. For example, I've today been e-mailed the Amati UK Smaller Companies Fund newsletter for February, and they say they increased their position in LOQ during the month, ma making it their 10th largest holding. And the Amati VCT2 newsletter for February says, in which LOQ is the largest constituent at 8%, or around £2.3m, says: "The biggest contributor to positive performance was Lo-Q, provider of virtual queuing systems for theme parks, which saw significant gains after posting strong results. The recent acquisition of Accesso, a ticketing and e-commerce provider, is already providing economies of scale and operational leverage, and Lo-Q's new smartphone-based system, Q-smart, has been adopted by a top theme park in the Netherlands" | rivaldo
25/3/2013 13:47 | Thanks for the thread and the maintenance - consistently one of the pleasantest and best-behaved on advfn. Sorry to hear you left the party early, although even at these prices I think the band's still playing... | supernumerary
25/3/2013 13:12 | Hi guys - I bought in, held quite a while, made some money, sold. C'est La vie. I see I started this thread in 2006 - been a great ride for those who bought and held..... Well done. | unionhall
25/3/2013 10:30 | not one of the original nine or so, but I bought my first 35k in October 2008, with a lowest price paid of 34p. So, in 4 1/2 years it has nearly 20 bagged, which is probably as much as you could hope for :-) Still have about double my original holding, just wish I had the 6 figures I had a few years ago, but after losing 6 figure sums on mubl, and lng, I am maybe a bit more cautious about holding shares forever. | fft
24/3/2013 23:39 | WELL WELL WELL!!!!!! SIR THOUGHT THAT GHOSTS HAD NO HAIR!!!!!!!!FFS | sir leonardo
24/3/2013 21:54 | Count me out, would love to come but washing my hair | ghostofahangman |
