everytime i try to buy 1000 shares with selftrade the order has to go to the market cant seem to buy online yet you can sell 10000

They've done the results, done the roadshow. Got demand from insitutions, and the Directors have sold to satisfy that demand.
Expect no massive rises for a while as institutions sated.

Yup, always the same with LO-Q - Liquidity. Works both way tho'. If someone wants to buy that badly they'll bell their broker and get 5k @ 520p i'd suspect. If they can't be bothered to pick up the dog then they've only got themselves to blame I guess..

15000 sell has got us now to 513/515 and 7,500 v 2.

This lack of liquidity will be discouraging to many.

Amati UK Smaller Companies Fund sent out their January newsletter on 22nd February and noted that they'd initiated a new position in LOQ, so they're one of the new buyers.

Probably will. Just returned from a meal with a very wealthy friend who is probably going to the Market for an additional 15k over the next few days. It wouldn't surprise me to see £6 registering before the end of March. spud

Just so no one is confused by the current Bid/Offer misdirection, Stocktrade are quoting:

Bid 509.7p (Max = 2500)
Offer 509.5p (Max = 500)

Still very limited stock size online to buy, and the online spread is 509.7 v 510. Strange though, in the face of the stated trades, to see the offer creeping downwards. Coiled spring... anyone.....?

I can remember this share at about 3p in 2005. They may of been lower than that again. It would of been amazing if you gone from QXL to this share.
