Last week, Chancellor Angela Merkel's government nearly halved its 2019 economic growth forecast from 1.8 per cent to 1 per cent, citing Brexit as the first among key reasons for the slowdown. .

Yes, recessions do happen, and most quickly go too.

Do 20th Century Chimps™ categorically confirm the UK will never ever enter a recession again post Brexit?

If not, shut up.

Lloyds and economics depend on a Democratic and Free society. A happy functioning society cherishes Democracy and Freedom

That is why all this matters.

"What the hell do all of these recent posts have to do with Lloyds Bank?"

Absolutely nothing at all.

"Are all these guys that desperate for a platform on which to express their views that have no relevance to he intended subject?"

And what intended subject may that be, sir?

Shy Tott

Most of China has been busy growing and feeding the demands of the West for decades and decades. Of course we all would like to see China reduce its demand on coal. But to suddenly turn around and demand they don't use coal, considering we are part of the problem, is simply unreasonable and has no pragmatism.

It would be pie in the sky, just like Brexit.

So you agree that China should burn its massive coal reserves?

(It matters not what you agree with, they'll burn the lot anyway)
