Hard to work out next years investment strategy.
Most must have lost this year.
It will be interesting to compare performance with professionals in the year end press.

Things look negative all round at the moment.
Hope we are not in for another lurch down to 4,000 again for the third time in 20 years.
We soon forget.
My main worry is the housing market.
So much depends upon it.

I suspect be drone is a cover for an experiment. 33 hours to deal with a drone? Hahaha.

The experiment is to test disruption for brexit contingency planning.

Collins will have to be careful. His words could be construed as inciting terrorism. I wouldn't shoot JRM. I think he is a misguided fool but I like him as an individual. He is a gentleman.

An enjoyable short article about Rees Mogg.

Philip Collins, in the Times on the 14thof December said it was time the team of JRM ‘were taken outside and shot’. Collins didn’t mean this literally, we assume, but still it is somewhat ironic that the Mogg is painted as the extremist when writers use language such as this.

None off the above - live in Wales and was out with my best mates in Wales having pre-Christmas drink last night. Hundreds of thousands wasted daily on minority interests, the Welsh NHS, Transport for Wales, Wylfa, etc. not to mention the building of new council and government "palaces" all over the place.

To real people £25,000,000 is an awful lot of money but not to Welsh government.

Now all time No 3, but No 1 and No 2 don't inspire one to think these things should be taken seriously. 1 is about banning fireworks, 2 is about Libya and black African enslavement.

Farage close operators were shorting the £ on the evening of the election.
the only real effect of Brexit was the collapse stirling.

respect.
You have to respect Farage, he has made a career of pretending to hate the eu, and has a £73k pension due from the eu.
Farage was a trader himself, and if we ignore those rumours of Russian cash, he is a success.

Tygarreg20 Dec '18 - 22:54 - 240586 of 240600

£25m per day would make a big difference to local authorities up here! When you say we get a lot out of EU. It's not as much as EU get out of the UK market. Just look at our trade deficit with EU. They should be paying us to be their best customer!!!!! Most best customers get discounts not extra charges!

Which ever Tygarreg you come from (South Wales or Snowdonia you will understand twenty five million pounds means nothing to your "local" authorities, Welsh government or council. The Welsh - another lot that voted to leave but are desperate to continue living off everyone else.

Backstop was always an EU tactic which seems to have backfired on it."And Irish Taoiseach Leo Varadkar stunned hardline Tory Eurosceptics by saying Ireland would seek to maintain an open border with Northern Ireland even in the event of a No Deal."

Maybe we should put them in a tent and spend the money on the next Big Brother House, eh?

At least the EU is building quality buildings. The UK government has sold off 1/3 of its properties: probably decent period buildings sold off way too cheap to some Arab or Chinese 'tools'.
