Labour MP for Perry Barr Birmingham was on tv earlier today talking about levying windfall taxes on energy firms and banks. We have been warned. Same old Labour Party.

Interpreting the rules of Rugby at a grass roots level is always going to favour kids who aren't bound by rules & conventions which is why the blue bloods will prevail. No point in being a baller on 70k/wk if the highlight of your week is going miller & Carter for a flat bread starter.

Directly@--63^: 'if Labour is to be believed'

You don't think Labour might pretend that they're not really socialists in order to get elected? Ah no, can't be, politicians are far too honest to mislead people.

What's going to be in the front row for Labours attention? Anything non-virtuous/sin-taxable: Banking, oil+gas, anything that was privatised (if they can afford to renationalise)...

I've had worse :)
School specific version of footie played on thick clay pitches at peak rainy season..
Heavy cotton caked with mud. Sometimes one ended up wallowing in mud baths due to being taken out off the ball (ie shoulder barged)

Reference Rugby,

I played it at school, but given the attire, it was something I never looked forward to, heavy cotton, weather terrible and it was supposed to be fun!

With that said, I think the game itself does require a certain standard of discipline to play it.

Plus, it's probably one of the only sports left where support is actively encouraged on national and Patriotic lines, so as far as I'm concerned it's to be encouraged.

Cricket a great game to which I'll still play until I feel I'm not up to snuff anymore, may have to take up umpiring instead then.

of course no-one in the West anywhere is saying that Vlad's win is a good thing since it is he and he alone that is stopping Hillary's WW3 becoming a reality
as I have said before ..in time he should get the Nobel peace prize..
And of course all the comment on how unfair an election is, is fine

UNTIL TRUMP SAYS 2020 WAS UNFAIR.

even the dimmest of dimwits can see this now.

Yes LB, western propaganda in full beast mode today. The Brits are quoting the Germans & French. Germans quoting the French etc. Not looked what the Spanish Italians & Dutch are saying....that should be interesting?

very good point about the turnout ,Tricky. And here the turnout for the GE will be so low it will be off the scale . and guess what?

IT WILL NOT BE REPORTED.

You miss my point with your simplistic scottish thinking Hardup. What the Western media can't ignore or explain is the turnout. imv its perfectly understandable that any opposition to Putin should stand up to scrutiny especially in the wake of US involvement in 2014 Ukraine elections & he's achieved all this without dodgy postal voting...remarkable really.
