21/3/2024 13:34 | No matter what your voting intentions are, these 9.25 million people will still be there and growing! A seismic change in attitudes is required to reverse their direction of travel. Mental health is the new excuse used by bone-idle, incapable ne'er-do-well's who are overwhelmed by simple workplace responsibilities. "9.25 million people aged 16-64 were economically inactive, and the inactivity rate was 21.8%. Inactivity levels increased by around 100,000 over the last year and the inactivity rate increased slightly". | gotnorolex
21/3/2024 13:23 | The BOE will likely wait for the FED to cut first. There are 3 FED cuts on the horizon apparently. The bank robust results suggests cut will be driven by inflation rather than stress in the banking sector. | smurfy2001
21/3/2024 13:21 | Getting away is profit making above 50p but where to put the cash is less obvious to me. | gbh2
21/3/2024 12:58 | Hopefully at last my shares will get called away and I can move away from Lloyds. ;) | alphorn
21/3/2024 12:56 | Interesting to see if the share price jump today will trigger the algo controlling the buyback to step back from buying? | hardup1
21/3/2024 12:33 | 1-8-0 So those two / three hawks didn't need to keep voting for a further interest rate increase, they were wrong wrong wrong. BoE can see we are now in a position where we can confidently start cutting rates, but we are not going to (yet) because excuses blah. Let's see how the money markets respond, looks like an even stronger bet on the first cut in June, and perhaps some are betting on May now. A rare and pleasingly positive response by the LLOY sp, took the opportunity to trim my holding and take some profits from topping up at 40-42p gosh only two months ago. | marktime1231
21/3/2024 12:08 | ...as expected. Weak sellers cleared out? | jordaggy
21/3/2024 09:37 | Is it going to break out at last? | orchestralis
21/3/2024 09:27 | Funnily enough - the impartial BBC ran a report last night on Rwanda doing something underhanded in Congo. They wouldnt be trying to depict Rwanda as villains would they? What possibly could be their motive? Its so bleedin obvious its almost laughable and a testament to the quality of their staff, most of whom are juvenile wokey lefties straight off their degree courses in politics and sociology at a 'uni' run by raving lefty communist academics | scruff1
21/3/2024 08:41 | Inflation will be negative by the Summer ! | chinese investor
21/3/2024 08:30 | M2, They have to look busy otherwise we'd all be saying they're doing fkall. They're actually achieving fkall but picking up merit points for tenacity & effort lol. Hunts probably setting up a Rwanda language school and trying to offload some of his marmalade. Anyway I don't give a fk RR is flying! | utrickytrees
21/3/2024 08:15 | 9p to 60p ! | chinese investor
21/3/2024 08:11 | How can anyone with a miniscule amount of common sense think by sending a plane load of asylum seekers to Rwanda is EVER going to work?? they are talking about maybe 50 flying out in July/august at best, it beggars belief of the stupidity of this government. | mikemichael2
21/3/2024 08:08 | Another grand achievement by Fatsos heroes - Sajid 'the resigner' Javid I seem to remember | scruff1
21/3/2024 07:49 | Bailey was head of all of this at the FCA when it started Now he is head of the Bank.. all fairly familiar | mr.elbee
21/3/2024 07:49 | What effect will the BoE decision have on Lloyds SP? I think negative if cut, positive if held. | jordaggy |
