Stallone wrote Rocky for which he was awarded best actor & best screenplay. Not bad for a first attempt. Considering he was just a struggling actor with no writing experience it must have been some achievement just getting the film made.

Tricky - thats ancient history. Its been the only debate in the HoC for years - 'Do we borrow loads o money or do we flog the family silver. All agreed on zillions of repatriation money to people who have never been slaves. Dont look for logic or prudence.

Told you the other day. My last school was built by Carillion - they get first dibs for 20 odd years then its given to the council for free !!! After 2 years it was falling apart. After 20 odd years their gift will be accompanied by a demolition bill and then a piece of waste land and the bill for a new secondary school. Madness but then most politician's big ideas are. Tony Blair's I think that one aided and abetted by all the others

Yep Scruff, no one knows who's who any more every thing's a melange! Unions are registered charities, charities have unions. voluntary organisations are unionised but they themselves don't recognise unions. What a farce!
Food Bank workers have union cards "The Felix Project" is more or less a business with big ambitions to expand, dependent on the preservation of poverty and the underprivileged. Long gone is the Church volunteer brigade to whom the country owes everything!
St Mungo's bed-n-breakfasts over three thousand people every night and counting. Build it and they will come!
So no pep talks to their inmates to get a life! The real needy suffer in silence!
