Netanyahu is rapidly becoming a law to himself a middle eastern Putin if you will. Considering the US are champions of democracy they've turned a blind eye lol so it wouldn't surprise anyone if Gazanians were subject to robust policing. 12/3/2024 16:07 | Israeli army raids West Bank towns, refugee camps — TV. Heavy Israeli military equipment is also reported to be destroying roads and infrastructure in the city of Tulkarm. DUBAI, March 11. /TASS/. The Israel Defense Forces conducted raids in the West Bank and stormed Palestinian refugee camps, the Lebanese Al Mayadeen TV channel reported. According to the channel, Israeli troops stormed the eastern suburbs of Nablus in the West Bank and the Arroub Palestinian refugee camp north of Hebron. Heavy Israeli military equipment is also reported to be destroying roads and infrastructure in the city of Tulkarm. Israeli soldiers are fighting Palestinian resistance forces in the town and on the road to the nearby Nur Shams refugee camp. According to the Iranian news agency Tasnim, one of the Israeli army's bulldozers was blown up by an improvised explosive device. Tensions flared up again in the Middle East on October 7, 2023, when militants from the Gaza Strip-based radical Palestinian movement Hamas staged a surprise attack on Israeli territory from Gaza, killing residents of Israeli border settlements and taking over 240 hostages, including women, children and the elderly. Hamas described its attack as a response to the aggressive actions of Israeli authorities against the Al-Aqsa Mosque on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem’s Old City. In response, Israel declared a total blockade of the Gaza Strip, home to 2.3 million Palestinians before the crisis, and has been delivering air strikes on Gaza as well as some parts of Lebanon and Syria. Clashes have also been reported on the West Bank. | stonedyou | |

12/3/2024 12:47 | The value of UK mortgages in arrears has risen sharply, indicating that households are struggling with high interest rates. The value of outstanding mortgage balances with arrears increased by 9.2% between October and December from the previous quarter, to £20.3bn, and was 50.3% higher than a year earlier, according to Bank of England figures released today. Michelle Lawson, director at mortgage broker Lawson Financial, said on Newspage: This data makes for grim reading but is sadly not unexpected. People don’t have bottomless pockets and this data places stark emphasis on that fact. Household finances are set to spontaneously combust if the current level of pressure on them continues. You’d like to think the Monetary Policy Committee will read this report given that the Bank of England produced it. | jordaggy |
