I don't see the € weakening against the £, it is the other way.

Brexiters continuing to deny their captain is a failure is laughable.
Brexiters continuing to deny what the rest of the world thinks about Hard-Brexit is laughable.

Nissan is an outlier. It is in too deep already. It will be looking for massive concessions from the workers or the government to remain competitive. You can only hold back the tide for a short period, no matter what your effort, eventually it washes your castle away.

The Conservative Party, back in the day, was once described as a "One Nation Party". The long journey since those times has led to the monica of "The Nasty Party" - even by its own MP's. This latest effort at rebranding seems doomed to fail as demonstrated by the Cummings machinations.

M2 Your posts, knowing your Brussels love and your labour commitment are amusing.First Boris has taken the best action by far from most other leaders and if you look Europe... what a mess from Brussels. Brussels must close down.. bankrupt business. And...I believe even BBC has given up by now for Cummings resignation...lol

A man stands by decent principles and values.

Little boys protect friends above everything else.

But, as we know, most posters on here are little boys. Their minds haven't matured much since puberty.

Good old Boris!

You couldn't trust a man who didn't stand by his friends.

Any other country would have asked the PM or equivalent to resign over our handling of Covid. Over 50,000+ deaths and the highest rate of deaths in the world shows clearly that the government's handling of the whole process has failed and failed spectacularly.
Boris continues to ignore this massive failure in handling the situation and, even worse, continues to support someone who the police know broke the lockdown conditions.

Resign Boris. Accept you are simply not an appropriate human to lead a country.

Personally, I wouldn't trust him to clean my shoes. Plenty like him, all mouth and nothing else to back it up.

Barnier is just a very well paid messenger.. he soon will be forgotten by the ordinary people. But,Its show how arrogant and disrespectful people are in Brussels.. No respect to democracy, or to an independence country and no respect for the 500 million people they have under their control.

I am not worried about Lloyds. As mr elb said is a well run business now, not the best but... So, don't expect the market to start moving upwards before the government give the ok about the virus and restart the business. For now, Relax and enjoy the UK summer days ..;))
