A couple of hundred dead and some runny noses should not be the end of the world. Boris needs to consider the 60 million population as a whole, most of whom are healthy specimens. And sue sue sue the WHO.AlsoNo Deal

Dividends make a lot of difference to fund managers and long term holders of these stocks.

K38, if you aren't capable of buying 50k of these at 32p for £16080.00 and knocking them out later in the day at 33p or £16500.00 and making £420 profit...why are you whining about dividends....any trader can make this dividend many times over.

Think about long term holders and institutions who keep the market afloat.

Dividends or not will no stop what is coming.. cancelling the test stress will bring back old pain. Anyways, dividends didn't make any difference to the share prices. We still trading under 60s in normal times.

Banks will need a lot of cash? Well who better to borrow it at near 0% than the banks!

k38 what planet are you on..Cancel the dividend...WTF are you talking about.

If Lloyds cancel the dividend on this share it will go to 25p in one fell swoop. They are making money, even if it is tough times, we do not need a bank share not paying dividends!!!!!

Lloyds would do better to a 5 or 6 for 1 consolidation.

The problem is that you are not up with events, the news flow is going to get worse, both in terms of the human cost and the upcoming market updates from companies. You're simply not paying attention.

And why is that stonedyou..Banks will need a lot of cash this year. Cancelling dividends for a year will do good to the share price. Is not all about shareholders.

The banks do not need to add to the hysteria in the markets at this time, give it a few months and we will be back to the rat race once again.

...351I agree and Lloyds must be strong and cancel their dividends now...unless they have and missed.

There will be no dividend payments or buybacks until this period is over, and if many businesses don't make it loan defaults will be high. So not much to look forward to in the near future.

Fake recovery... Lloyds and RBS are acting opposite to the rest shares most of the norm times.

Why have most shares bounced back from their lows, but this one hasn't?

Institutions close their shorts the day before they have to declare them, they then open new shorts the same day so have them open all the time.

considering the volatility in the market, how the hell is this so stable. Normally, Lloyds all over the place when the rest of the market is quite!
