About 2 hours ago the Daily Mail reported Ausralian scientists have found two existing drugs used together have cleared covid 19 patients of the virus. This would be a 'cure' rather than a vaccine.

M2 re '32,000 cases by a week on Sunday' is bit OT I reckond it will be more like 15 000 and the growth much slow as more and more people are self isolating .

The US will come to their senses eventually. They are an insular nation, negative impacts like this they find very hard to deal with. Look at 911 for history of overreaction.

I used my financial calculator to do some growth/infection predictions last night.

I calculated we would have approximately 32,000 cases by a week on Sunday.

The rate WILL HAVE TO fall as it is unsustainable as we get into months.

Thanks. Even if it goes lower, when sense prevails after the Coronavirus is dealt with, hoping to see the share price back in the 50p range.

Hopefully bought near the bottom today, although in these uncertain times, you can never be sure. 80k @ 33.5p or thereabouts in 4 tranches.

Bought a tranche of Philip Morris International. Anywhere near $66-70$ is very good value on a DCF based on _zero_ growth.

I think dividend will be suspended in these uncertain times, cash is king. No margins if BOE cut rates. Bad debts rise in.
