Investing is my full-time business.

Currently - as we speak - I'm doing some DuPont analysis on a couple of stocks. Not that you would know anything about that.

Politics latest news: Queen grants Boris Johnson's Brexit deal royal assent

Danielle Sheridan, political correspondent
23 JANUARY 2020 • 3:45PM

The Queen has granted royal assent to Boris Johnson's Brexit deal after it cleared all stages in Parliament.

Some MPs cheered as deputy speaker Nigel Evans confirmed the European Union (Withdrawal Agreement) Act had received the assent, and was now law, in a short announcement to the Commons.

It marks the clearing of one of the final key hurdles on its path to the UK leaving the EU on Jan 31.

The WAB will now be signed at a ceremony in Brussels tomorrow by Ursula von der Leyen, the president of the European Commission, and Charles Michel, president of the European Council.

I have been a professional investor for two decades and have friends in the City and in finance in all sectors. I have also founded a company last listed on the LSE and so have experienced the FCA in its many forms. It isn't perfect, it makes mistakes, but it does a better job than people appreciate.

If it didn't exist and nothing similar was to replace it, or came before it, then London would not be the centre of finance that exists now and you Little Englanders wouldn't be able to go around bragging about London that is for sure.

Your ignorance is very apparent. You are just a bunch of fools that know nothing.

As for immigration, Boris will give you the certificates so you can sleep better at night! ;)

Immigration is something we need and can't do without. Farage has sold you a lie and you chimps have taken it hook, line and sinker.

What a gullible, pathetic bunch of Little Englanders you all are.
