C the RCorrupt governments using police and some cases the army to force their will on people. Europe is full of demonstrations against their government and Brussels in general but as you see in Hong Kong - BBC avoid to show the real Europe to us - people not always win.Europe is corrupt to the bones right now. We own to democracy and help them if we have to.....;)

One day we, the UK we will be asked to save them once again and that is going to be very soon"

And this time we should tell them to foxtrot oscar.
We also should not allow USA to use UK as a transit base from which to mount an invasion of Europe.
Let Europe burn.

"Haven't a clue Alphorn, well above my 'pay grade', just a humble man from the plains trying to make a few bob lol".

Why do you write that stuff then cheshire??? Even more concerning is that you are supported by other posters who do not have a clue either. Highlights why these times are so dangerous. Making it up as you go along.

There are people far better placed than I to come up with solutions Alphorn. Quite at liberty to express concerns I may have though, we don't yet live in a totalitarian state. Have lived and worked in places where free speech not possible.

Do you feel robbed of the privilege of being plain nasty to someone of mixed heritage, and getting away scot free without being admonished by your betters, you'd expect common decency to prevail and not being called a pleb for not having a proper education, the right accent, or obviously devoid of gentlemanly attributes!

Bob

Still a slim chance for a No Deal Brexit.
Write a letter to your leader and explain..
the way things are now, Boris can do two things.
1) this deal, which is not good for you Or cancel and..
2) No Deal Brexit.
Tell her to support Boris in a No Deal Brexit.

...;))

Bob Only in a No Deal Brexit you would had get your referendum. Your leader gamble on the wrong horse JC. As I said, if SNP were playing clever they suppose to help Boris to get a No Deal Brexit. That would have given more ammunition to referendum supporters and voters in Scotland. Under this deal and conservatives in power you will wait another 12 years for another chance and that is IF...

This issue with people smuggling is evil. Nothing less. If they *manage to hold people to account here they should be extradited to China to face prosecution there. Their fate would send a clear message to all involved,

Lynn AtkinsonPosted October 24, 2019 at 10:02 am | PermalinkThe U.K. is part of phase 1 and phase 2 of the Euro. We are compelled to run our economy for the benefit of the EU and not for the benefit of the U.K. anybody who does not understand this is has not been able to weigh the desperate necessity for Brexit by 31st October at the latest! However as the PM has surrendered the Government to a Parliamentary coup and cooperated to trash our constitution, he is just another a rudderless May.I will never vote Tory again.

oldtimerPosted October 24, 2019 at 12:46 pm | PermalinkI was astonished to hear, on the BBC`s WATO, Labour MP Ben Bradshaw describe Brexit as a "minor issue".That, it seems to me, is a measure of the incomprehension of a committed Remainer of the views of those who voted for Brexit. I imagine he might want to revoke Article 50 too. He, and others of the same thinking, should be careful what they wish for. If he imagines that all 17.4 million people who voted for Brexit would accept quietly its result being overturned obviously does not understand the British.

The saga never stops - tonight the Press Association is quoting an unnamed No 10 source (they don't use twitter) as saying the government would pull the withdrawal agreement bill if MPs refuse their timetable.

It is also being reported that the November 6 budget may also get pulled.

Sublime to the ridiculous if true.
