Beer British...I really like Duchy of Cornwall beers...but i do wait until they are 3 for fiver!!

Wine..gone back to french after many years of Antipodean...and after a holiday in Austria their white wines are fantastic...can get little pricey. 30 years ago ordinary French wine ( not the fine wine) was very poor, they imported Australian wine makers and their mid price offering are now very good indeed.

Post above - love Japanese land Thai lagers

Anyone else notice how Remainers are always quick to proffer the Anti American lines.

Plenty of other countries produce beer in the ROTW, not just the US.
Canada - Coors Light,
India - Cobra
Japan - Asahi, Kirin, Sapporo
Singapore- Tiger
Thailand - Singha
China - Tsing Tao
Mexico - Corona
Philippines - San Miguel

So why the unnecessary anti Americanistic chemicals in beer example??
Plenty of other options ROTW side.

Fan of Asahi / Sapporo and Corona myself.

Yes it will certainly help the share price when or if we ever get out of this dreaded EU. My guess is Boris will be PM, he will try to get things changed but with have no luck, then Boris has a choice to Prorogue parliament or a general election. There will not be a majority for any party then. Labour could lose 5 million who voted leave, now they want to remain ??? has well. Tories, nobody will ever trust them again. The 5 million votes what Labour could lose could go to the Brexit party. If we do not leave the EU then democracy will be dead in this country, and nobody will ever trust any politician again

Fatknacker.

I recall the Spitting Image portrayal of Major, the grey man,and edwina.
Fond memories of that telly series.

Have to say, in nearly most instances, I do prefer ROTW produce over EU offerings.

Plenty of really good British beers, one or two are even Scottish...and America are having a craft ale revolution slightly behind the uK but getting there..

Germany and Belgium do great beers but just because we are leaving the EU, i am sure they will still want us to buy them...ditto cars

We aren't called treasure island for nothing...

That's fair enough Poikka, I don't mind trying the local craft beers and generally do like to support them when I'm in an area with a local brewery.

Could always try a Ringwood Brewery, Ladeside, it is British, or any other fine British beer.

Nope, don't know what you're talking about.

Too many pi's and no confidence within the ii's. PPI coming to end is already in the price. The only boost for the share price will be a brexit deal, which is looking increasingly unlikely.

Yes jacksonse, I can see this going into the 60p+ soon,Barclays on the way up has well. I think the next results for both will be very positive. And with PPI coming to an end hopefully both will start to head northwards :)

As I've stated on many an occasion, I'd never describe myself as a "remainer" or a "brexiteer" as quite frankly I find it all rather childish and pathetic. Ayr Utd supporter, Yes, by all means.

On the other hand removing my choice to purchase an Estrella Damm and having some disgusting chemical beer thrust upon me from the USA, WOULD, rather annoy me as it's removing my choice to purchase the beer that I desire / prefer.

That, however small it may seem, is only one little negative example of why life with a hard brexit would be worse for most of the population, who I'm sure, haven't even thought about any of the consequences of their actions........
